I was playing PS4 one night and PS4 Pro the next night on same TV same settings, apart from graphical/frame rate improvements ... nothing changed with the colours. This is a good thing though, not a negative - as my colours and many other people's colours are already calibrated perfectly with original PS4 - so no change or artificial boost to color is needed nor wanted.

These videos don't seem to render the comparisons properly. I've used both the PS4 and the Pro on my same TV and the differences were frame rate, clarity, and lighting. The color for some games were improved on the Pro assuming it utilized the HDR however, that was a handful of games, only 2 that I had.

He doesn't have the graphics settings matched well enough to make a good comparison. Especially on the BF1 shots. Not sure why he was mainly highlighting that one. There is actually a pretty big difference, especially in frame rate.

Misinformation? Misinformation would be saying that all games look better on the Pro or that the Pro does nothing for visuals at all. However, it is true that most games on the PS4 don't use the Pro's hardware and that many that do, use it for 4K and HDR but not 1080p. Furthermore, the ones that actually do add something for 1080p aren't going to be giving you, say, the ultra settings from the PC versions with 1080p 60fps. Instead, you may be getting a slightly sharper picture, slightly better textures, slightly better shadows, native 1080p, and/or a better framerate but not always together. If you're gaming at 1080p rather then 4k, you don't get the improvements across the board you'd expect from a GPU that's 2.5 times as powerful.

...what? I'm going off of videos? I'm regurgitating what I've heard? No. I have a few friends who own PS4 Pro's and got to spend a good amount of time at one of their houses trying it. I've also spent some time with it at a local console arcade. I also own all the major systems (just not every console variant) as well as a gaming PC. I've also had the chance to play it side by side with both a PS4 and a moderate gaming PC. Again, most PS4 games don't benefit from the added power and as for the ones that do, not all of them benefit gaming at 1080p. The ones that do don't give the type of visual upgrade and performance boost I hoped for from a GPU that's 2.5 times as powerful. In the PC space, if you go from a Radeon HD 7850 to a RX470, even with bottlenecks from the CPU, the performance difference is much larger. To me, it feels like there aim for this system is mostly for 4k, HDR, and VR with 1080p gaming being an after thought that most developers who support the Pro aren't fully supporting.

tentacular....every other PS4 video i've seen has said that it is definitely louder than the ps4 and sometimes my ps4 gets pretty loud so that's another reason i'm waiting for the ps5.

Suicide Gaming the picture quality is superb, i upgraded from a 830c which already has good quality, but the 850d takes it to a new level. colours are v accurate, triluminous display imo is the ace up sony's sleeves. only thing i dont like is the audio.. and 1 day after using the tv i bought a sony ht-ct 80 soundbar and subwoofer. the hdr quality is good too. Most games dont have very good hdr implementation right now save for ratchet and clank and final fantasy xv. and in terms of none 4k content x1 is still the best in business and upscaling quality is better than any other brand.

Dave thats cause this youtuber has no idea about the shortcuts and cheats that these console developers use to say that it runs in 4k but it actually is not "true 4k". You start to get true 4k at about 10 terraflops, which the ps4pro isnt close too

Itachi Uchiha Your problem has to do with input lag. I've never heard of a Sansui TV, and larger tv's normally have more input lag. You're going to need a better tv to correct your issue. Samsung and Sony are what you're going to want to look at.

kisslen.....just hold on until PS5 comes out in a few years, then those 4k tv's will also be much cheaper and then you will really appreciate the FULL upgrade. Game on!!!
