This is a 1-hour long version of the music that plays when you first boot up your PlayStation 5 console and choose a user. Recorded using a capture card.
Yeah, the problem becomes that this startup music is SOOOO good, that it almost disincentivizes you from proceeding! :-D In fact, while I'll stop short of hard committing, this could potentially even be my favorite piece of "system music" of all time. The actual main menu music you run into beyond this screen is certainly fine and all, but in my opinion, not even remotely close to this level of awesomeness. So, what I wish they'd have done instead was swap them and have this be the main menu music instead (where you'd get a lot more opportunity to hear it).
This is so perfect. There's the space - crystal like notes, the violin, the ethereal tones, it's just....it gives a feel of majesty, like gazing into space.
This is hands down the best startup Sony has made since the PS2. Beautiful visuals, and some of the best system music I’ve heard since the Wii, glad to be an owner.
Rather than "modern", I'd say "timeless". Because in addition to feeling "very much of the NOW", it also sounds remarkably similar to, of all things, a piece from all the way back in 1977 that I've known and loved for years called "Nucleus" by The Alan Parsons Project off their album "I Robot" - an album that predates me by 3yrs, and probably most of the people in the comments section by a lot more than that. Hear it for yourself (you might need to jump to timestamp 1:30 to get the full impact of the similarities): ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-HuhDSkJH9cc.html
@EnCoRe, I don't think mine was great. I took one sound I found on a official PlayStation tweet on Twitter and looped it. The only hard part was to connect the first sound (the startup sound) and that sound I took.
This makes me feel at ease, in peace. Like you've found a beautiful hidden garden that's invisible to everyone but only you can enter and see it's miracles and then this song starts playing as you venture through it
This music really makes me want to play PS5. To be honest, it's the best music Sony has made so far, it's very addictive to listen to. When I hear this music for a long time, I feel a certain nostalgia for the good times I had when I was younger and I regret it very much.
@Kyan Silva Méndez I want my hands on one this year, hopefully. Returnal, Ratchet, FF7I, Demon Souls, Miles Morales, Sackboy, DMC 5! Not to mention all the ps4 games I missed out on!
@@the_mariocrafter RRoD (Red Ring of Death) was a hardware descomposition/failure, what means death to the console, the RSoD (Red Screen of Death) was a disc failure or you put the disc upside down what DIDNT means a death to the console
It makes me feel as though I’m sat in the luxurious waiting area of a futuristic Spaceport, enjoying a drink before taking off on holiday to some other planet.
Makes me feel like I'm flying through the air on a planet far away thats majorly made of gold, green, and white rainforests. I close my eyes and can feel the wind on my face and see emerald and blue water. 😌
People say the ps2 menu sounds were the best, and i don‘t disagree growing up with that system was truly amazing, but this one might bring back that feeling again!🌟
Note for the future: This feels nostalgic already, isn’t it? I hope you’re better now than before, having the best life because you truly deserve it! Don’t fail yourself
probably the best startup theme since the PS2. has that mysterious, futuristic vibe or being teleported to another dimension/world vibe like the PS1 startup.
future nostalgia. sony’s magnum opus of startup sounds. i’m so ready for the tears to well up in two decades when i go back to listen to this, while hopefully playing on the latest and greatest playstation home console consisting of a killer menu supported by some ethereal startup music.
@@cleanclearsongs3455 yeah, when i originally recorded this i only recorded maybe 3 to 5 minutes of footage, just enough to seamlessly loop it (the music at least, the animation is a bit harder to do so without fade-ins)
I am happy to say I own a ps5 Digital Edition now and before I start playing games I just sit and relax to the login screen music for about 10 minutes LOL.
I just got my PS5 a couple days ago. The moment I heard this when I first started up the console was like instant goosebumps. I've always been a fan of this kind of ambient music with a constant, calmly sound (Minecraft Boss.ogg or Dreamstate Logic tracks are pretty good examples) so now you can imagine how much I love this. Also this gives me vibes of a slowed version of "The Day of Night" from Silent Hill 2.
what i feel about this song is the vibes that you get.which are and the future are in one place press the ps button and you will be able to feel them both this ps5 is the mixture of both and right know play it and you ll see what it has to offer
idk if its just me but but I really love this particular login screen. first boot when I got my ps5 really hit different and I'm so excited for this coming generation. even though life sucks rn ill always have games and my friends to help me through
You feel settled... relaxed. Ready to tackle on what ever great adventures the PS5 console has to offer. The Dark yet soothing Ambience of the PS2 menu theme was once a portal into a dimension of unknown and creativity. But this...? You feel hopeful.. confident... ready to usher in the fact that there are no limits to greatness... this.. is next gen.
Imagine when ps7 is going to realease and we return on this video crying and remembering the good moments with ps5 Fantastic and nostalgic at the same time
you are in 2021, you feel nostalgia in this melody, it is normal, because you already know that this is the last console, and that it is much too early for you to admit it, so you take advantage of it to meditate Thank you Sony you are the Best !
An endless hour of delightfulness ambient music. Looks like that Active Planets composed this piece, or at the least I feel like I'm diving into the sidereal space.
Sometimes I feel like this user select theme would be cool to have as the home menu music. I like the home nusic too, it sounds sad in a good way. This theme sounds like I found something beautiful and exciting.
This might sound odd but true, I’ve purchased a PS5 digital edition at launch and only had it for 3 months till I sold it as I wasn’t financially in good stands. I’ll remember booting it up in 4K and hearing this. Hopefully I’ll be able to buy one again this time a disc drive version. I can wait .
