We want something different, right? With everyone hating on Infinite Warfare, I assumed it was because it looked like "same old same old". The gameplay was actually a bit surprising. Much better than that trailer.

I love how games lately are getting really big. So much more work is being put into games lately, with crazy amazing graphics, tons of little Easter eggs and references to predecessors if the game is a continuation of a series, OPEN WORLDS OUT THE WAZOO, and SUCH AMAZING DIALOGUE!! I swear, game makers are having a field day lately.
This isn't really a "reboot" per say. The game play looks different, but it's a continuation of the story still and takes place long after God of War 3. Tackling another mythology isn't synonymous to a reboot if you take all factors into account.

I'm not at all happy to say that I was very early to board the CoD hate train. I'm talking back around MW2 (maybe earlier) was when I stopped buying and resented each game being a $60 copypasta. Then they made 23,718 new titles and people kept buying. Now all the sudden people hate it and better late than never, right. I joined in the hate of the reveal but I have to admit that I had no idea that trailer was CoD until the end. None. I actually thought a side group at Guerrilla Games or another Sony studio were making an offshoot of Killzone. I was about 70% I was watching a Killzone trailer. I liked it.....a lot. Then CoD popped up and I felt like an asshole lol. I'll admit that for the first time in many years I'm willing to give it a chance. More decent gameplay and I may grab it one day. We'll see....
It didn't look that great. When the gameplay came out I didn't know it was COD, yet I still felt it was nothing that spectacular. Not bad, but nothing special Game of the Year with a new IP? Now you're just taking a piss lol

I think Arkham VR sounds amazing, the Arkham series was already one of the most immersive Batman experiences in gaming, and now they're making it even more so.

I'm glad you mentioned Infinite Warfare in this trailer. There might be a lot of people who keeps hating on the new COD because it is futuristic and in space. They should look beyond that. Admit it, the Space Combat looks cool, the Boots on ground combat looks traditional, and the campaign is (kinda) open world. Now let's wait for the multiplayer reveal...
Remastered Crash Bandicoot and "Dad of War" were big highlights for me. Those are great games of my younger years. . Also CoD looked way better than I thought it would. Probably wont get it but GG to them for a badass gameplay clip.

Actually a lot of people are not hating on Infinity Warfare. Even the IGN guys were not hating on it. You just can't judge it before playing the game. So many games have proven that trailer alone doesn't show the quality of the game itself. I don't see how people are complaining so much when they could simply not play the game. I mean, it's not like there is a shortage of games out there. P.S. Dishonored 2 == Game of the Year.

From an Xbox user: I'm actually really interested in Death Stranding. There are so many questions to be answered just from that short trailer. PlayStation actually did real well with their press conference, even with Infinite Warfare in the lineup. I'd say both did really good this year at E3 - Xbox with Scorpio, Play Anywhere, Microsoft game exclusives, customizable controllers, etc. Sony brought back some originals (CRASH!), VR games, and new exclusives. Xbox Play Anywhere actually brought PC together with console. So no actual company won. The gamers won.
This looks like the brink of change for a lot of different games. I agree that RE7 looks nothing like its previous games (Not 5 or 6) but following in Outlast's footsteps is a step in the right direction. The new God of war also looks interesting, never was a huge fan but I can appreciate something that is made well, thanks for keeping us up to date!
i dont know why but that new spiderman looks sooo legit. the last spiderman game i played was spiderman 2 on the ps2 and that was one of my favorite games of all time. Ive been dying for there to be another one like that and the new one looks promising.

I think this showcased how the Last of Us changed how Sony and even other studios made their games. Days Gone and God of War is very reminiscent of Last of Us in the way it was explored and played. I'm excited for both. Spider-Man by Insomniac was a big surprise for me. I thought Sucker Punch would handle it considering they have done well with Open World games. The shot where Spidey jumps through tables and blasts through the window was amazing. I hope that was gameplay. I would love that.
I can't believe what i'm about to say, but finally a proper Resident Evil video game! Last true Resident Evil game came out in 2000 and now 16 years later we get proper survival horror game, or at least horror game. I shat bricks when words Resident Evil came on the screen.

i have ps4 and x1 and also a pc with i7/gtx980. for me every year is a good time to be a gamer. but this year, is the best year! after this e3 we have steam sales and great games are coming out for the console. people like me who own consoles and a good pc will be having a great time.
The Resident Evil 7 trailers shows that its going back to its Survival Horror style, back to its roots. How is Capcom going for a different approach if they are familiar with this genre. That's the main reason why the Franchise blew up, so for them to finally listen to the fans is really good.

Niklas Nikkanen Yeah the game alone is a decent looking game, but its what it COULD be that gets the fans pissed off. They ran the franchise into the ground by changing the game too much so it now no longer appeals to the original audience. (including myself)

I can't believe how many comments there are that the character in Death Stranding looks like Norman Reedus when all of the video game news media has been reporting for ages that Norman Reedus was working with Hideo Kojima on the Silent Hills project that got cancelled. That's like looking at the Chronicles of Riddick game and saying "That guy looks just like Vin Diesel."
