Ponies will never admit that the vast majority of PlayStation users play Sinister 6 titles (CoD, Madden, GTA, etc…) just like Xbox users do. The attach rate to those precious exclusives isn’t as great as they think.

Bruh if 16 comes to gamepass I’m gonna laugh I don’t think the game was bad, but I needed money to buy bg3 when it released on ps5 so I sold my copy of 16.
Final Fantasy 11, 12 Zodiac Age, 13, 13-2, Lightning Returns, XV, Crisis Core Reunion, and Stranger of Paradise are all on XBox consoles ranging from the OG to Series X. Only 4 FF titles have been Sony exclusives, and likely timed ones at that.
When you tie your entire identity to a brand. Exclusivity is the reason why games like MGS4 and Resistance have been stuck on the damn PS3 for all these years. Console exclusivity + no backwards compatibility = lost media. Or is this too hard for fanboys to understand?
There is a rumor out now that MGS 4 will be on vol 2 of the metal gear collection. Hopefully it's true. I never got to play it because it was on ps3 and I got burned bad by the ps3 when the infamous hack of 2011 happened.

Triple A games are becoming so expensive not having them be multiplatform is like a uphill battle to recoup costs. Nintendo is an exception because their games cost far less to make, like why is it rocket science to these people about exclusives.

@Kieran-j5v their source is that games usually sell more on ps than Xbox. But they conveniently ignore that ps has a bigger playerbase than Xbox, which is the reason for those bigger sales numbers. Which is weird, because they love pointing out how many more consoles are sold..

This news definitely confirms that FF7 Rebirth and FF16 clearly undersold on PS5 even with Sony's exclusivity money. Ponies clearly didn't buy Final Fantasy enough.

Even PlayStation themselves have had to do PC ports this gen to make up for the lack of sales on their own hardware. It's almost like they overhyped the PS5, everyone bought one, saw what games were being released and went back to either PC or their PS4. I suspect quite a few people have sold their PS5 by now too.

I don’t just buy “a” game. I buy every game, for $20 a month and if a game comes out that’s not on GP… I can buy that too because I didn’t pay full price for everything else so, I have the money. They will never get it.

Did the fanboys forget that the Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy was on Xbox 360? And I've been playing Final Fantasy games on my PC for the last 10 years. Oh, how fanboys forget history so quickly!
XI, XII Zodiac Age, XIII trilogy, XV, Stranger of Paradise, Crisis Core Reunion, World of Final Fantasy are all on XBox platforms. Only VII remake trilogy, XVI, and Pixel remaster aren't on XBox. And even then, they're likely timed. I expect XBox will get a FF7 Remake Trilogy all-in-one bundle.
The only way exclusive titles can be profitable again would be for them to go back to the PS2 era in terms of scope and graphical fidelity... Otherwise, the exclusivities are dead.
As someone who is a fan of PlayStation games, I am relatively embarrassed for people thinking that it’s the end of the world that Final Fantasy is going to Xbox. I say good for them. Games are meant to be experienced by everyone and not become exclusive

I've been a PC gamer for years (Since 1993). I also own a Nintendo Switch and a Xbox one. I never understood the console / PC wars. Game devs should release games on all platforms. They will make more money and give customer more options.... Love the content.. Keep it up.

Hell all these companies deal in MAUs and I'm not paying 70 dollars when I can pay 20 dollars and play new games. I mean you pay 70 and you don't own what you pay for
70$ I can pay for finished 3A game or very good game with some small bugs. Example Elden ring or BG3, both isn't perfect, but that's mine based line. Why, because on the market is to many games, older good games are for 30$ and GP.
@@Analog_AIhate to break it to you, but BG3 had A LOT more than a few minor bugs at launch. It launched with missing content and bugs that rivaled a Bethesda launch. Hell, act 3 was practically unplayable for like 3 months (at least on console).
The point of a battery backup is to keep the rig or console powered in the case of a power blackout. A surge protector doesn't do that. JayDub's had some stupid takes, but in this instance, buying a battery backup was the right call.
Keep buying when Sales are good. Try to pick up games when they're discounted by 75%-90% off. That's how I managed to gather up over 1,270 games digitally on my Xbox. It's rare these days that I pay $60+ for a Game, but Visions of Mana was absolutely an $80 Digital Deluxe grab. Gotta put the work in to help show Square Enix that it's worth putting their games onto the Xbox. Now hopefully Square Enix can back away from Wokeness, SBI and DEI. Kinda concerned about the idea of buying Dragon Quest 3 HD2D Remake. Also if you buy Visions of Mana Digitally for the Xbox, you'll get a free copy of the Game for the Xbox App on PC. #PlayAnywhere 👍

I have a battery backup, I live in Florida where the dumb power keeps surging and cutting out, it allows me to continue using my PC for at least 45 minutes of gaming, so they are useful.
I got one thing to say, Rino's Tweet the last 15 years of Square Enix games have been bad excluding Final Fantasy. So according to him, Kingdom Hearts Birth By Sleep, Kingdom Hearts 3, Kingdom Hearts 3D, Dragon Quest, Star Ocean, Octopath Traveler, The Last Remnant. Games from 2009 and onwards have been shit.

Such a shame FF16 is banned here in Jordan. I enjoyed the demo a lot on steam, was looking forward for the game and when i finished the demo, and when i wanted to purchase the full game i got greeted with the "Oops this game is not available in your region."

I wanted and waited for a PC version and to be met with a disappointment, it took my hype for the game away and i no longer feel like wanting to play it nor buy it.
