I only bought a PS+ Extra 1 Year for $58, when the price hike dropped, i promised to never purchase that crap again. I'll just buy cheap PS4/5 games on the flea market.
As for why Sony doesn't release as many games as they once did: Why over saturate your Console's market with reasonably budgeted and priced AA games that could potentially draw sales away from you $300 Million investment and your various live service games? Why waste time and resources on small and mid budget games that could make a lot of money when those can go towards Live Service and $300 Million AAA games that could make all of the money. So, as usual, the answer is Greed and Incompetence.

Seriously who actually cares about trophies/achievements? I do them for games I like a lot and only do them if they are actually feasible. But if I can't get all of them I don't actually care. And going to cheat to get them is just a hassle and waste of time.

Why does it matter? Do you care that I genuinely have the "A Monument To All Your Sins" achievement In MCC Halo Reach on Steam? I'm literally in the less than 1% club. Or how about that I cleared all 6 achievements in Super Hexagon? A notoriously difficult game? It begs the question... Why do you care?
Sony and Microsoft need to lower it, 20$ for Nintendo online (1 year)not that bad, PSN for 80$ is way above, idk the perks appart from online. Now Microsoft of gamepass core for 60$ maybe a better deal for about 25 games with online but idk the games but maybe a good deal depending on prices

The pc gaming community either wouldn't exist or would be a lot smaller if all they did was pirate games because no company would port their games over to pc if they were interested in making any money.

These people vastly overestimate how widespread piracy is. If it was so widespread why are games selling so well on pc? How are pc exclusive games even profitable if they only get pirated? But of course console peasants have no idea how many pc exclusive franchises there actually are.
@@somesalmon5694 But much of said japanese media was not widespread, most never got translated professionally and has only recently received proper releases in the west. So people had no other choice but to get fan translations.
I really don't understand why the serious Playstation fanboys are getting so bent out of shape over this. MORE people get to play their games, which means more money for developers, which can mean a potential sequal in the future. I mean, I have a PS5 (Do not play multiplayer games on there, only use Marketplace, so do not have to pay Sony's insane prices) and just enjoy some of the games I get from there. Sure, I mostly play on Xbox more times than not thanks to Gamepass, and some actually good multiplayer games, and good community, but that is no need to be petty like wishing PC players pay for online play (REALLY wish Microsoft at least would erase that.) If anything, hopefully it drives some pony's over the edge and the only ones left playing on playstation are just decent individuals who just have fun gaming. At the end of the day, it does not matter where you game, as long as you are having fun, and if more people can experience the games you love on a different format, then even better.
consoles just on life support from exclusives. Third party devs will not accept exclusivity deals forever and 1st party platform exclusives will not be economically viable forever either.
OK, GoT trophies are definitelly a test ballooon. Imagine haveing a big ecosystem like PSN and you not only link PC versions of games, but create a complete interoperability with Steam achievements. People with a Playstation will have ALL trophies for ALL games they own on their PSN account, making the PSN network more relevant for community stuff across hardware boundaries. And now add a store to PC with cross licensing between PC and Playstation Game comes out day and date parallel to the PS5 version. And you buy the game once and get both versions. What a horrible vision for the future. LOL
I've played Ghost of Tsushima for just an hour and a half roughly 2 weeks ago in PS5 (the PS5 wasn't mine, it belonged to my brother's fiancee) and I daresay that it was memorable to me.
I play on Console but plan o getting a PC soon but they don't realize that console sales have been stagnant for a very long time and PC is growing. I have a Steam Deck and be on that more than my PS5.
And all these is happening because they are releasing a game on pc that they have done before now if they try releasing a game on rival console imagine the outbreak 😂😂😂

I just remember how i unlock all achivments for all my stram games that i own in 2014 by lutteraly pressing one button in some cheat soft tool set. So... That why steam achivment means nothing. And its kinda sad. I mean its true that "pirated achivments" are real things so... Its understandable to concern.
A company that wants to make money makes a decision that will get them more money. Colour me surprised. Won't be getting GoT as preorder nor on release. Going to wait a few weeks, make sure the reviews are good and that it was correctly ported. Then... dropping my money on it. Won't be sailing the seven seas as I value my PC gaming rig too much to risk on a cracked game that could come with "interesting extras"... do these people have zero clue? Probably... sheesh.

Console gaming is almost dead, and I'm a console gamer. PC is going to be THE way to play new games in a couple years. I'm a Gran Turismo player (all games are PlayStation exclusives since its inception in 1997) and I honestly think the next Gran Turismo (Gran Turismo 8) will be released on PC as well as being released on PS5. It wouldn't be surprising if Gran Turismo 7 gets a PC port in a year or so as well because it is the best post 2020 racing game on the market currently (aside from maybe Motorfest), especially since Polyphony has really polished the game since launch so it would be kinda a smart move to make GT7 and GT8 playable on PC at some point. I want PC players to experience the game too so it would be nice. I also expect Stellar Blade to come to PC some time too. It is advertised as a PlayStation exclusive but Forza Horizon 4 also advertised as a XBox exclusive before it launched and it got released on PC a year or so after launch.
I don't expect Nintendo to ever port their first party games to PC. If they did, it'd probably be exclusively through their own launcher because they absolutely would not want to give up control over people's games. Smash Bros online on PC with crossplay would be dope, though... at least until I remember it has 13 frames of input delay even on a perfect connection.

Why tf do they care if trophies or Sony games are on pc? Why? Its odd. High end gaming pcs cost a pretty penny.. if one has it to spend then they deserve to be able to play the games available. I have a SX ..cant afford a good gaming pc right now...but the fact PC gets xbox games day and date on Gamepass is awesome i think. It helps fund more games for the xbox economy. Why do PlayStation players hate this idea? Sony is doing the xbox strategy because they realize xbox was correct about PC players buying games. They help bring the revenue up ten fold. I dont understand why fanboys of any console would hate on this. It makes no sense. PC players help buy games far too much for sony not to do what xbox has been with the PC Space. The big difference is that xbox/Windows are more of the same over sony/windows since micro owns both windows and xbox.. especially if u pair that with a Microsoft PC with windows and Gamepass ultimate....xbox knew what they were doing. Im gonna comment on the stupidity of AndrewSqal. Games are taking longer because they are bigger and more detailed. Textures take longer to build when they are larger resolutions. Levels have to be better. They could puah out quick games like in the PS3/4 era but those games would be even more trash than most of the first party exclusives they are releasing now. The current ones are basically reskins with better Textures and a new story. Plus dont forget they have to talk to Sweet baby befor the game releases

Literally the biggest reason I want Steam to exist on Xbox? Is to see PlayStation fan boys freaking out that their full slate of former exclusives can be played on an Xbox. And they would still say Xbox has no games. Despite Xbox mathematically having thousands more games available on Windows + Steam.
Even if steam came to Xbox .. I don't think Sony would allow the license to go on another console. Sony probably has something in place that locks their games to steam/PC only ...and not steam/PC with Sony games being allowed. Idk . I just don't see Sony letting steam so any of that. I have a series x so yea it would be crazy to see steam on it but probably won't happen anytime soon.

The PS5 is dead since Sony was unable to make it a worth console to buy, 4th year of life and i can't think on 3 games i want to play in that console 😂 In the same time period PSone, PS2 and PS3 had build a proper game library and all of them were great purchases. I want to support Stellar blade so bad but one single game isn't good enough to justify the money wasted in that woke console 🤣
Why does anybody actually give a shit about trophies/achievements? Such a worthless function. Half the achievements are basic shit and the other is tedious af or hyper specific. So who cares if you have a plat or not? I could cheat to get them but I never cared enough to go through the hassle and the few games I actually have it, I never went out of my way.
The main reason Sony has slowed game development is because games are getting more and more complex and every "AAA" game has to look realistic, and "cinematic", and constantly push the hardware limits of these plastic boxes. The PS1 and PS2 had larger libraries then the ps3, ps4, and ps5 combined because 3rd party creators and sony could make games that were fun, and put gameplay over graphics.
This is crazy. If they really cared, each ps5 owner should buy more than 3 copies of every ps game to make up for the money pc will bring, to keep Sony from porting to pc. The game had its run on ps. Everyone who is going to purchase the game has already. So making some extra change from us pc players is good for a game that had a good run on ps. I gave my friend a pretty good damn pc. He was thrilled as i was that we could play pc together. But my brother there he likes the sony console. His first and like one console he owned by himself and that means that his family purchased for him was a PS1. It wasnt until like 10 years ago that i gave him for his birthday a PS4 Pro. And now that he has a pc he still wants to get in the future a PS5. If someone likes the console not because its the best but because they just simply like it. They will purchase it. Porting games to PC wont kill the console. This people are just professional whiners.
