Good review. Just got these to test out after seeing all the mid reviews. Quite simply they are awesome. I think expectations and use case are what people are butthurt about. They aren't gonna replace standard bluetooth earbuds as a mobile daily driver. Galaxy Buds Pro 2 in my case, but for everything gaming, PC/PS5, they are unmatched.
I primarily game on my PS5 so I'm waiting on the Pulse Elite headset to replace my damaged OG Pulse Headset come this feburary. But I think they share similar audio tech, the elite just has noise cancellation and better battery life, so it's good to know these sound great.
I just got a pair of these for the bluetooth + dongle muxing and Portal compatibility and I'm pretty much regretting the careless way I tore the box apart because these sound like shit compared to any of the Samsung or Google truly wireless earbuds I've owned. Could you explain in more detail what sound quality issues you experienced and how changing tips helped?
Since this video it's done it maybe once or twice, but only for like 1s each time and only when I've done dual connection. Thinking of it, I'll leave a comment about this and pin it
I have to plug the the usb dongle in the back because I have the ps5 slim, and I noticed after a while of playing, the usb dongle will get hot from being plugged in from the back, and it will disconnect, I take the dongle out and let it cool down and then it works again
@@jiizzy9490 mines in normal big ps5 and had disconnected quite few times and needed re docking and other times for a couples seconds, apart from that though I love then over heads give me a headache nice to chill my gameplay has actually improved
Yeah, these PlayStation air buds are sick. I love them. I was skeptical like you and once I got them I’ve been using them for everything but they excel so much on games like Cod and anything where you really need to listen to the sounds to determine distance and location of enemy’s it changes the level of my gaming experience I’ve I also own a pair of Astro A50 and the pulse sound better. The only problem people will encounter with these is trying to find them because they are sold out everywhere.
@@MinimalisTech i have the link USB connected to my Mac mini M2, and the buttons of the volume dont function . But One question : i connected the USB link to my Mac but to pair the buds the only way Is in bluetooth mode
@@therebelgentleman the LED light in the pulse dongle is a button. Put the buds in the case. Get it into pair mode again (hold link button for like 8s). Then press the button (the LED) on the dongle. It’s not a capacitive button so give it a good press. That should do the trick I hope.
It Looks cheap and ugly, it’s feels cheap but the sounds it produce is very good but the reality is it’s not worth 200$ , 150$ is the right price for it .
I stopped looking at the video when he said he was impressed by them, sound like someone trying to justify their purchase, just buy a Bluetooth transmitter and use your AirPods at least they have noise cancelation and transparency mode etc, $200.00 for these is just absurd.
Airpods don't have low latency codex for transmitters. So you basically are saying 150ms of airpods (assuming everyone has one) is better than literal 0ms of planar magnetic audio?
