PLC Programming Tutorial 3 - RSLogix 500 Emulate on Local Machine Walkthrough - Learn & Test PLC 

I was pleasantly surprised by the capabilities of RSLogix Emulate500 as I tested a few more programs with it. It does take a bit of practice in order to be comfortable testing programs which rely on a lot of inputs/outputs, but does work very well.
