It would be fantastic if UCR created a much more efficient and effective manner of submitting the exemption documents. I have yet to get a response from them after weeks. For those saying to drop out, I’d gladly do it if I would get back the three years I have worked to get the masters and $100k that it is costing me.
Medical Tyranny. These shots are injuring thousands of people. Even the faulty tests are discriminatory; "vaccinated" people can just as easily transmit covid. Why test only the unvaxxed?
I got the religious exemption, so I can stay in this school. But yeah, sadly USA is becoming like communist china with all these mandates, regulations, and taxes.
Genuinely concerned how you only gave a two month warning for this mandate and used compulsory intimidation on the young students via suspensions and holds, while the older employees vaccination rate stayed the same at 75% in the same week. You can keep your degrees I'll just find another route.
@@pluradox I'm not trying to insult you, but I don't understand your comment because vaccination requirements have been around way before last year and I got all those vaccinations. We all knew ahead of time about those requirements, which have years of research on them, but this was decided at the last minute and has no concrete long term studies. If you're going to UCR then you know our school is a research oriented school as opposed to a Cal state, which focuses more on practical applications. So you would think a school like ours would wait on making such a rash decision and further analyze future data. If you want the shot fine then get it if not then that's also fine.
@@AbombOO7 And i yes i see what you mean about years of research but all the vaccines have had testing and were approved under emergency authorization and recently approved The pfitzer vaccine under FDA guidelines no longer under the emergency use purpose yes they could wait to put requirements for the covid vaccine but why would they when it's currently a problem and most people over the age of 16 should be getting it regardless of whether or not you're going to school
@@pluradox This covid shot, FDA approval, and requirement to mandate all happened within the past two years. Yes the framework for the RNA technology has been around for longer, but the covid shot itself has not. The thought of us implementing without thoroughly studying its effects on humans for the long term seems out of place. Look I'm not trying to argue with you, but when you start stating near absolutes like *most people over the age of 16 should be getting it regardless of whether or not you're going to school* then I think any discourse we could have just won't be beneficial to either of us. Hope you have a good one man.
@@IAmLocutus77 Masks do not prevent the spread of the virus, especially in a populated campus. I fail too see the reasoning for masks to be mandated in what's essentially a bubble of vaccinated people. This would be the equivalent of mandating masks every flu season.
@@StickManVS who said masks don't prevent the spread of the virus bro? They significantly reduce the risk of spreading, as well as vaccines reduce the risk of spreading if you end up getting covid and also reduce the severity of your own symptoms. Most peer reviewed journals online will tell you this. Nothing will be 100% effective, but they can help.
Vaccines that have been throughly tested with its risks known, and benefits proven. They were requiring this before it was even approved, not to mention that it was approved by a “acting” FDA commissioner, who will not even be allowed to serve in the position permanently because of her controversial decisions to approve dangerous drugs.. look it up yourself. The joke is when you don’t do your own research and use common sense.
@@bsada5221 you gotta be trolling, I thought anti vax karens only exist on facebook. And UC is a self-governing system, its their right to enforce whatever rules they want.
@@alexkuang1088 I’m not anti vax my dude. I’ve gotten all my vaccines. And I made my parents get their COVID vaccine. But it’s not right forcing it on everyone. It’s not right man. We should be able to decide what goes into our bodies
@@IAmLocutus77 good sheep Edit: I regret calling another person who is ultimately in the same boat as the rest of us a sheep. This situation is bad and I don't help anything by lashing out.
@@pinchamu8687 Didn't think it would. Superiority complexes are hard to break. Anyways, have fun dropping out and taking horse dewormer. Us sheep will be really owned.
@@maxphilly it seems you’re on THEIR side of the fence attending a school that goes against your beliefs? perhaps just don’t go here or drop out? almost like an atheist complaining about their Christian school for being christian.
