I feel like there are people that get so angry when you share less than favorable opinions about makeup! I still film videos sharing products that don’t work for me but I guess I try to appease the angry people ahead of time. 😂

PLEASE PLEASE do a Ulta in house review. I feel like no one really has videos on that and I’ve always wondered about their in house brand. They have a huge selection and I want to try stuff, but want opinions first! Or if you know a creator who has done this please let me know someone you trust!

Wow so Elf has duped not just Supergoop’s Glowscreen but also their Unseen sunscreen! I bought Elf Whoa Glow and really disliked it because it made me look like the Tin Man. I had the same issue with SG Glowscreen. I also don’t like SG Unseen, so I won’t be trying the Elf dupe…the silicon filmy feel is weird and I like to be able to see my sunscreen so I know I’m applying it adequately everywhere.

The essence highlighter used as an inner corner highlight or in the middle of your eye as a halo looks amazing, try it that way!

@@AndreaMatillano It’s just a different effect when you’re doing darker looks with chocolates, plums and maroons, the purplish pink metallic gives it a pop that champagne and pearl tones just don’t! I’m glad I was able to repurpose it because I don’t know anyone that could use this as an actual face highlighter😬😆

I completely agree about the single eyeshadows. The Urban Decay moon dust shadows are stunning. I do like Colourpop Ritz, but I always find I get glitter fallout from Colourpop that I never get with the Urban Decay moon dust. The Ulta beauty bouncy shadows came in broken ALL of the time when I worked there. I was constantly damaging them. I also had customers return it several times for the eyeshadow breaking right away. Sometimes the components came broken, too. It’s a flawed formula for sure.

That Elf sunscreen is my favorite for my combination mature skin. It smooths everything. It’s a silicone sunscreen so you need to wear compatible primer and foundations or it won’t mesh well. Since I don’t use silicone free products it works great for me. My makeup lasts so much longer and I don’t get oily.

I have combo skin with a very oily T zone and I love the Inkey List SPF. I like that it’s not super glowy that makes me look greasy but it has enough glow to look nice and plump. I have not experienced any pilling and I usually don’t use primer over this.

Andrea I warned you about that Essence highlighter... it is pure garbage! 😕 oh well at least it wasn't too expensive!! I tried to use it and immediately it went right into the garbage.

100% on Pacifica. The only thing that I've ever tried from them that I did not hate was fragrance. The vitamin C serum that smells like orange tic tacs?? My skin is still mad at me

I would love a review on the Kokie makeup line. Everything I’ve ever bought from that line is amazing! I bought their cream compact highlighter and it’s my absolute favorite highlighter over everything else I own. I get soooo many compliments on my skin, and it’s because of that highlighter! Their lip and eye liners are wonderful too. One product that wasn’t good though is their liquid shadows…they dry too fast. But I’d love to see other product reviews 😊

I bought the Tower 28 mascara, and although it looks good on lashes, and I love the wand, it flakes under my eyes so badly by the end of the day. I’m so surprised nobody has ever mentioned that on RU-vid. I’ve tried it several different ways but I always end up with flakes on my cheeks later in the day. 🤷🏻‍♀️ Think I’m going to try the new Benefit Fan mascara next. I can’t stand Pacifica products 🤮 Their new spf feels like spreading Elmers glue all over the face. 🤢 and it’s horrible under makeup. Everything I’ve tried from the brand is awful.

I was let down a little by the ELF Suntouchable because of the formula. It’s a bit too greasy and…unstable? It definitely melts in the bottle if it gets too warm and comes out liquid-y. I much prefer the Whoa Glow. I have Combo/Oily skin, and I liked the Inkey List Polyglutamic…Different strokes for different folks!

The new Elf sunscreen made my makeup pill. Not impressed. Maybe on its own it’d be better. But I ended up having to pick up the Super Goop one that is the same as the matte Elf one. That one is working for me so far. And I agree about Pacifica. I tried their eyeshadows once and they just wiped off my lids. I know I have oily lids (to the point it looks like I washed them with baby oil 😮) but it was a little silly. So it kinda put me off to Pacifica. And they aren’t cheap so I don’t want to waste my money on something that I may not like.

See that’s just it you hit the the nail right on head , just because it may seem cheaper doesn’t mean it is ! You have to compare how much you’re getting for what you’re paying with things .

I know that sunscreen has been trending in 2023 but the drugstore has had liquid primer sunscreens for years. SPF50 mineral. Cetaphil has one (yellow cap), LaRoche and Neutrogena did too. They usually come in squeezy bottles with mixing balls and are made to wear under makeup so they don't pill.

I wonder if that Elf sunscreen is duping the Supergoop Unseen Sunscreen. I actually love the Supergoop Product. Hmmm. Also, I’m one of those people who doesn’t care for the Whoa Glow- but I know I’m in the minority. I don’t think makeup looks all that great over it and it doesn’t leave a particularly nice glow.

I've heard a lot of negative reviews on the LYS mascara which is SO disappointing because I love so many of their other products! But literally every review I've seen has been the same - too big wand and too smudgey (if that's a word) 🤔

That Suntouchable! Whoa Glow Broad Spectrum SPF 30 Sunscreen burned my eyes immediately, and I has a red rash later that day. Not for me.

I'm kind of dissapointed of the Inkey List prods. I tried some and disliked 'em. For instance, I do not understand the raving of their oatmeal cleansing gel. It is awful..! I used it a couple of times and it left an unpleasant film on my skin, not to mention that it did not melt my make up properly...

I bought both Elf sunscreens and I think Woah Glow was way better. To use the invisible one up I'm focusing it on my tzone especially between my brows and forehead, where my makeup tends to build up and slide around after wearing it for a while

I really like your under eye makeup in this video... I always thought you go so hard on your undereyes that your eyes end up looking smaller and the look also distracts from the rest of your makeup... But never found courage to say this because this is kind of a mean thing to say... You look so much brighter and awake in this look...

I bought the Pacifica concealer off the recommendation of another RU-vidr and I don't like it. I have dry under eyes and concealer creases easily and I never get it to look good and like you try to apply more to fix it and it will never look good

I like Garnier sensitive skin micellar water and CeraVe micellar water. They don't break me out but slightly sting on my eyes so only use on my face.

This may be just me, but except for a rare holidays eye shadow palette I rarely ever find anything in Ulta make up that is usable, it never stays on it's just so meh and I have problems trying to understand how they built their brand. Granted they have great products at good prices and a large inentory of especially lower to medium brands. Most Ulta stores near me do not have the nicer high end products they advertise. I get good deals at Ulta, I shop there but I am always disappointed in their brand name Ulta make up. So I'm not surprised. Sadly.
