God wouldn't want his followers to get confused who he is. God is not the author of confusion(1.Cor 14:33). Trinity is an author of confusion it has confused millions of people. Trinity has its background from babylonian mysticisism. Not from the Holy Bible.

1 Cor. 8:6 is all you need to know about how one should define God and Christ. Anything beyond that is speculation and certainly not necessary for salvation.

If we understand Jesus' statement "I and the Father are one" in John 10:30 to mean that Jesus is God himself, that would seem to contradict John 14:28, where Jesus says, "The Father is greater than I am." It would also seem to contradict John 20:17, where Jesus tells Mary, "I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God." Jesus was talking about his unity of purpose with God the Father. This unity of purpose extended to his followers. In John 17:22, Jesus prayed to God saying, "I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one." Obviously, Jesus did not mean that his followers were of the same essence or substance with God.

Some even started printing Bibles without the verses in them, and other Bibles added footnotes about their possible "addition." >>> This of course was all just anti-christ propaganda spread to try to weaken the Bible. Scholars agree that they were not originally in the Bible but were added much later by a scribe to support the Trinity doctrine. That’s why most modern Bible translations do not include these words. Biblical scholar and professor Bruce M. Metzger wrote the following about 1 John 5:7, 8: “That these words are spurious and have no right to stand in the New Testament is certain.”-A Textual Commentary on the Greek New Testament.
