Franklin Graham says PRAYER and Personal Notes are the most important thing and he wants us to send MORE QUALITY TOYS in our shoeboxes and to the processing center as fillers! And that's our aim! We want children to experience delight when opening their shoebox gifts. And may that delight cause them to feel a deep desire to know more about this Jesus who loves them. And may they receive Jesus as Lord and Savior!

Are you interested in an eternal relationship with Jesus Christ? Believe in Jesus, admit you have sinned and ask him to forgive your sins. Trust Him and receive him as your Savior and Lord. Read all about God in the Bible, starting in Genesis with creation to understand God and sin and the punishment for sin. Also, read the New Testament to understand what Jesus did, so that we could have forgiveness and redemption from sin. The Bible reveals God's plan for his children and the world. It tells us that Jesus will come soon for his children and we get to live forever with him!
We are blessed to have the Bible so we can know all about him.
I am very glad I can participate with Operation Christmas Child to bring the good news of Jesus and eternal life to the children around the world who have never heard about him. We are making a difference for eternity!

What beautiful items! Michelle sure has been blessed by God with such skill! And I just love what you said about Temu! We remember to pray for the captive and exploited people in that region but so often don't think to pray for the captors. God sent Jesus for them too! Compassion and mercy. That really is the point ! Such beautiful gifts!!! Those swan blankets are precious. Blankets are one of my favorites to sew and send in boxes! We actually get a lot of pleasure from packing large blankets... we love thinking about a child having a blanket large enough to cover them (so sweet to think of them cuddling their plush toy under a warm blanket,) and it also enables us to pack more boxes, since they are a large item! I think big blankets make nice fillers too, since they can almost fill an only half filled box, and I would think a big blanket would be a wow item for many poor children:) Christy, thank you for all the good ideas you give us! I only have 2 blankets so far but intend to get more. I am doing filler for girls and have lots of stuffed animals and lots of dolls. Now my focus has shifted to creating shoeboxes for age 10-14 boys. Soccer balls, printed tee shirts, dice, cards, cars, etc. I thought that age group would be challenging, so I looked up your suggestions online and got some really good ideas. Thanks for all you do! You are a blessing to the community.

So glad to see blankets getting sent! My son who retired from the army said that blankets are a much needed item in many poorer nations! I’m actually sending some myself this year but using my vacuum sealer to shrink them down to have more space in the shoeboxes. Love those dancing wands, too! Such lovely things you all put in your boxes!

I refused to download the Temu app as I heard they use the app is used to steal personal information. But learning they use slave labor is another reason not to. That being said, isn’t most of the things on the market today coming from China? Wouldn’t that all be slave labor, too? I shop Amazon often. Would that be adding to slave labor? I certainly hope not! Onto the items, I love those blankets! So pretty! I purchased a few blankets for shoeboxes after my son mentioned it being a real need worldwide in poorer countries. The first ones I bought were lush Lego blankets to go with some generic Lego sets I put together. They would take up too much room as is, so my friend vacuum sealed them for me and now they are much smaller leaving plenty of room for the other important things we pack! We ALWAYS make sure to send school supplies. But this year we are trying to include more fun and musical items as well. Lots of stickers, too! I have learned so much from you and others videos I’ve been watching about making sure to make the boxes not just practical but fun as well! Thank you for all you share on here! ❤❤❤
