Eines der Lieder die mir zum Thema 70er Jahre sofort in den Sinn kommen, ist dieses. Zwar wurde es, streng genommen, 1961 Komponiert und von The Marvelettes gesungen (auch sehr erfolgreich), aber ich kenne es nur von The Carpenters, die es 1974 veröffentlicht haben. Da die Cover Version von ihnen genauso erfolgreich war wie das Original (beide Male Platz 1) denke ich, dass man es auch als 70er Song durchgehen lassen kann.
Wusste jemand von euch das der Song im Ursprung aus den 60ern stammt?
Fun Fact: Die Beatles haben den Song auch gecovert, allerdings wurde er in Deutschland nur auf der B-Seite veröffentlicht.

To be honest, it was composed in 1961 and sung by The Marvelettes (also very successful), but I only know it from The Carpenters, who released it in 1974.
