Jess saying "Oh she looks terrible" with the tone and cadence of someone commenting on a bad outfit while looking at her friend's rotting eyeless corpse is going to stay with me forever
I love that the killer's motive has nothing to do with revenge, but wanting to make sure they get away with it by killing almost everyone that would know. Not at all what you would expect
"it feels like its gonna be a very valentine....remake of black christmas sort of feel...if that makes sense?" YES. It totally does. I get it immediately.
No Alanda bc I found him more attractive too after that😭😭😭 but I think it’s because it’s like “All for me?😍” but also it’s like, “you’ve killed people.. you’re insane”😂😂😂😂
@@AlandaParker Yesss girly I'm with you 100%!🤣 I love your content and your vocabulary is immaculate, trying to be like you out here! I'm glad you came up in my home page, you're amazing!❤
"you bitches thought you got away with it. See you soon. ~A" LOL. Funny enough. The killer in this movie was from Pretty Little Liars. Btw, you just made my whole entire life reacting to this movie. Your reaction to this movie was everything I expected from you. I am the happiest person in life right now. This is one of from favorite movies growing up!
Another reaction I would love to see is The Roommate with Leighton Meester, Cam Gigandet, Minka Kelly and Aly Michalka. It has the same early to mid 2000s horror with trashy characters. It's sooooo much fun!
Yes! I want to see this so much. I absolutely love this movie, and the soundtrack is fire. Please react to this Alanda. I've never seen anyone else react to it.
13:28 I love that the Cult of Thorn has become Alanda's recurring reference point for truly deranged behaviour. Some of the greatest hits in this video: "a monk named A", "this young Republican", "this future Kushner"
They’re working on a Sorority Row 2, with some of the final girls at the end returning. It was just announced a week and a half ago. You reacting to this was perfect timing.
Jessica was actually my favorite character. There’s not a lot of “mean girl” type characters in horror movies so it was nice seeing something different🤣
Lol when you went "You bitches thought you got away with it, see you soon -A" I laughed so hard. Definitely something A would have texted along with that photo, even funnier Wren from PLL is in this movie 😂😂
I was going to point out Wren too. Ironically though, PLL the show is based on books of the same name and they started in 2006, so technically A was still a thing before this film. It is weird how similar they are though, especially since this film is a remake.
“I’m really starting to think he’s not marriage material.” always cracks me up. It has one or two disturbing moments, like the death by bottle, but it comes off as a horror comedy.
This movie was my EVERYTHING in high school. The casting, the original soundtrack. UGH ❣ EDIT: Just wanted to exclaim my love for this film's underrated cinematography after being reminded of it by Alanda. 🥰
A few people have already given her her flowers, but I can never talk about this movie without praising Leah Pipes for giving a hell of a performance. Jessica is one of the greatest mean girls in horror history, in my eyes.
This has been one of my favorite rewatch movies since it came out! I love that it’s not cut and dry “everyone else can get it and we have a sweet final girl”. None of the characters were likable but they were so unlikeable you love to hate them. Especially Jessica. She’s awful but has the best one liners.
Jessica is a horrible person but she's the funniest of them all, she has so much personality and isn't afraid of just doing and saying whatever. Leah Pipes made her a truly iconic character and deserves all the accolades for it.
Was that Julian Morris as the killer? The same guy that was in Pretty Little Liars! He was supposed to be A (supposedly) in the season finale!! Love that reference.
I freaking love this movie and the original from the 80’s!! Fun fact the people behind this are thinking of making a sequel!! P.s the actor who plays the killer is from PLL!!
This movie was so Pretty Little Liars, it could've been a pilot. Also fitting, because Julian Morris is in it. Also, also, RIP to Carrie Fischer, my fav thing about it.
This movie is a remake of an 80s film called House on Sorority Row which predates pretty little liars, which just borrowed its premise from films like Prom Night and I Know What You Did Last Summer
@@jamesgatz4490 Oh I'm aware it's a remake. I bring up PLL because it's a common reference point for Alanda, and appropriate because both this and PLL are iconic mid-2000's trash.
this movie is as guilty pleasure and I’m so glad you’re finally watching it! The kills in this movie are underrated, those girls went out hardcore af 😅
So Jessica was in a Disney Channel Original called Pixel Perfect, which I was obsessed with when I was a kid. Seeing her go from that to the Queen B was crazy.
Love this film, it was one of my favourites when I was a teenager! You should definitely check out The House On Sorority Row too, classic 80’s horror and definitely worth a watch even if you don’t react to it.
lol NOOO for the ending it’s showing scars on the wrist, as in the brother they left at the lake so he’s coming back for revenge, of course this movie probably didn’t do that well so we never got our scorned brother sequel (i loved it of course but who doesn’t love cheesy things)
This is the one movie that I appreciate more when watching other people react to it. I love the 1982 original and thought this remake was just okay, but the cast (Much like Black Xmas (2006) cast ) was stacked with mid-late 2000s icons and every reaction vid I watch, the more I enjoy the movie
It does feel like Pretty Little Liars a little bit. A black hooded figure stalking and texting their victims in an act of revenge. It also has a couple of actors from PLL, including the killer and Rumer Willis!! =]
LOL You wanted to know what happened to Garrett after Jessica ran his ass over with her car ...That was him at the very end at rush week. They did a zoom-up on his wrist.
so good and iconic! alanda i'd pay top dollar to see an extended version of your reactions!! they're gold! btw dying to see your reaction to jurassic park!
My day got better because of this video THANK YOU SO MUCH. I highly suggest the original (this was a remake) “The House on Sorority Row” (1983) a super good 80s slasher.
Alanda you're a LEGEND!! Your reaction is GOLDDDD ✨️✨️✨️✨️ Had me LMAO the entire way!!! 🤣🤣🤣🤣 also I loved the Pretty Little Liars references sis! So on point!
15:42-15:50 is my happy place: Alanda in full bodied and bellied guffaw, unable to hold it in. Watch you for many reasons. But this, your laughter, is at the top. Love to you (online kinda sorta) friend. Thanks for the good energy in my feed, per always. ❤️
I haven’t even watched the video yet and you already made my day! This sweater is amazing! And Sorority Row is one of my fave ‘10s slasher ! Additionally recently the writer hinted that he’s trying to complete the script on the sequel to this film!
Apparently there is in talks of a sequel with Cassidy and Ellie returning. IMO I think it could work if Ellie turns out to be the killer and the actual master mind of what happened in this movie. I mean all the signs of Ellie being a killer is there. Also IMO Jessica should have been a final girl. As awful as she was she was the best character.
This was a great and hilarious time, as always. Thank you, Alanda! Also, I recommend the original, The House on Sorority Row. It's as much a time capsule as the remake is but beyond the basic premise of a sorority cover-up, it's an entirely unique story. Plus it has some really cool cinematography.
@@marcusthompson1031 no problem Marcus I hope you like it! It’s been fun for me to watch more 80s horror lately and get those references, like how Prom Night is all over Scream
