It’s like seeing all the puzzle pieces all individually found in different months and finally put together and we are able to see the connections and see the enhanced glory of it all

So many talented animators So many underrated games So many terrors in these communities But by golly there are so many slugcats to love

2:00 The beat dropping as moon sees the rarefaction cell made me shiver. This video sums up the game so well without even saying a word.

3:57, OMG- Seeing saint like that gave me chills- Just thinking about how Five Pebbles might have viewed them is SCARY to me now

1:43 the change in style from part 10 to part 11 actually works incredibly for the story of artificer Going from the revengeful sharp art style to the softer memory

ALMOST FORGOT TO WATCH THIS HELP aaaaa it came together so beautiful - still can't get over how you scugged the end credits

The “ here we go again “ fits so well for Rain World because of the never ending cycle that the creature prob thinks that phrase each time in the song. Love it!

1:43 the whole map is great but OH MY GOD this part is BEAUTIFUL

Oh wow i just noticed something that makes this even better - at 4:03 the pearl that pebbles throws that turns into rot is the chimney gold pearl - the one that spearmaster brings before their campaign, that contain SRS's instructions for how 5P can kill himself through the rot

The part at 2:11 is definitely one of my favorites! I just love how Hunter's super edgy, it feels so appropriate for their situation. After finding LttM and fulfilling their purpose I always imagined Hunter happy, but Hunter being jaded and angry makes way more sense: they were sent on a suicide mission by a creator that gave them cancer, they probably died a couple dozen times just getting to LttM, and there's nothing for them afterwards besides being consumed by the rot. ALSO the art is JUST SO PRETTY!! And the animation is smooth, and-- Honestly, this whole MAP is just a blessing

0:51 The way North draws eyes is just so incredibly adorable. 0:58 The rain starting in sync with the drop in the music is great. 1:28 Majestic! 1:34 Adorable! 1:43 The smoke and Arti's leap being tracked by the 'camera is so epic! 1:47 Love the elite's glower. Also that blue Scav with the glyph of the third sin is so cute! 1:49 Great transition 1:50 Artihunter adorableness in an adorable art style? Yes please! 2:03 Moon's expressions are so good! Her happy face morphing into concern is just _chef's kiss_ 2:27 The lizard is so happy and excited! Also love the four comic panels style... framing? Is that the right word? 3:04 So sleppy :3. Also looove the senary! 3:47 Arti's Movements are so fluid and almost liquid. Very ferret-like. 3:58 No words. SO GOOD!

Baby's first MAP... I'm very pleased to have participated! The discord was an absolute delight to be apart of and everyone there was so encouraging. I think everyone did a wonderful job on their parts; the final product came out so good!

The Pilocene MAP started shortly after I joined the RW community, and I remember seeing bits and pieces of it every now and then not really knowing what it was. It’s awesome to finally see it all put together like this!

1:43 this map is so cool we get some warrior cats map esque animation and then smooth transition to artihunter fans inserting their otp into everything (again)

The pearl to rot transition in that final part goes SO hard

So glad I was able to find this, 1:43 is maybe the best bit of rainworld animation I’ve seen period and is what made me follow this MAP

Yet, such dread can suffer resist, In this world of ceaseless mist. _Part 4_ Though the roaring rain is relentless, Thrashing all in a striking tide, There are still asylums for the endless. Yet, such calm is not an indefinite bide, For esse demands more from all's stride. _Part 5_ Suffering can be one's prospect of life, Where it seems utterly steadfast In prolonging a soul's agonizing strife. Yet, you must refuse the path of downcast, As such a trail will only lead to a foul last. _Part 6_ Lost can the hushed cordial being be, Who is in search of friendly blood, Blood that resided in his far place of glee. Yet, the base he uses to hide from the flood Holds familiarity in the form of a past bud. _Part 7_ So much animosity in this ancient domain, Where death is nothing but frequent In this harsh world of rushing rain. Yet, now is no time to lament, For this tireless journey is malcontent. _Part 8_ On metal shores where danger lay deep, There lies a tense glittering nomad, Who wishes to reach a holy heap. Yet, such a trek is not free of mad, As all still lie on the eternal pad. _Part 9_ When a soul is wholly slashed, One's Demise is not a verity, For an ending is all but dashed. Yet, this echoing life still holds charity, In the form of ceaseless dexterity. _Part 10_ Violence permeates this city's grounds, For a vengeful spirit thirsts blood's pour, As the city's dwellers silenced her young's sounds. Yet, the grim satisfaction of murderous gore, Will remain this wraith's only score. _Part 11_ Calamities can lead any soul astray, Where destiny seems to hold them ill, Leading their life to become an endless decay. Yet, After all the callousness wraiths can instill Peace is still not hollow for souls on Down's Hill. _Part 12_ For one's prosperity to draw near, Another must reach their expiration, For sacrifice must occur to receive life's cheer. Yet, as a blueish hue presents salvation, Distress will remain an evergrowing notation. _Part 13_ Beaming is the tranquil moon, Putting all at a brief ease, An ease most keeps in tune. Yet, as fine is night's breeze, It lays fleeting in its eternal seize. _Part 14_ What is a savior without the afflicted, But a soldier without a war, As their need for existence is deeply restricted. Yet, in this world of deep sore, None are allowed to feel end's soar. _Part 15_ Decaying crimson is this envoy's prose, Holding it in a state of utter ache, During its wishes to see its journey close. Yet, such an end will lead to its forsake, For it is doomed to accept the plague's intake. _Part 16_ No matter the time or age, Life's endless clash will go on, As if itself were a rusted cage. Yet, as eternity maintains its spawn, Elation can still be seen each dawn. _Part 17_ Above the clouds, where one is free of rain, Putrid structures break for heaven's sky, In hopes of grasping its blessed arcane. Yet, the chief of history tends to imply That such vast aims will leave one dry. _Part 18_ In metallic lands that were filled with life, Where the sun-filled sky was ill-faint, Has now been replaced by frozen strife. Yet, the self-proclaimed green saint Sees a dream in this land of white paint. _Part 19_ Those who own a fierce aspiration, Who will do anything to see it through, Destin themselves to a doomed station. Yet, if one is to allow help from another's view, Then doom wouldn't have to become true. _Part 20_ Though existence has turned frigid, Covered by endless sleets of snow, Expansive life still holds itself rigid. Yet, this alluring place loves to reflect other's glow, As to show them what has become of their flow. _Part 21_ The exalted tower of lore loams far, Forever damned to a state of rot In a world already covered in eternal tar. Yet, as bleek is tomorrow's thought, There is a charm in this cracking fraught. _Part 22_ From lifting leisure, To ravenous rage, Love can be a seizure. Yet, in times of rampage, It can be one's only gauge. _Part 23_ One must be careful as they tread, For jaws lay frequent here, Where all are ordained to countless dread. Yet, with hardy gear and little fear, One can find cheer in such boundless drear. _Part 24_ Up high amongst the draft of space, Lies insight to one's fact of fate, Which can finally lead to achieving grace. Yet, attunement is merely a trait, And only actions can lead to one's elate. _Part 25_ Wanderers tend to uncover the stray, No matter if what's awry resides bare, For they hold the motive to enter the fray. Yet, the winding path they must fair, Is sealed to a grinding limitless wear. _Part 26_ How long must these walls sustain their stain, On secluded grounds so void of air, As the sadistic one seems to covet the bitter chain. Yet, as the plated floors halt their tear, The foul fiend is forced to feel a new stare. _Part 27_ There are always highs and lows for all who ponder On what could've been their stage to thrive, For wishful thoughts are what lead to a meandered maunder. Yet, aimless ambles are what drive the mind's dive, Cause if they are to lay dormant, what's the point of being alive? _Part 28_ Arrogance is the principle of one's downfall, For it leads it blinded followers adrift, On a lone vicious path against life's call. Yet, life can not so easily receive rift, As its grasp is as absolute as a divine gift. _Part 29_ Numerous husks scramble about this sprawl, Wishing to distort any beings it hears, For its reason to exist lies in another's fall. Yet, in such a tainted construct with many broken gears, There is a dying guide who offers counsel to one's fears. _Prologue_ This is a world covered in a mass of delight and terror, Where every piece of land must live as a ceaseless bearer, For in order to hold up the consistency of lifecycles All must live these told stories for countless cycles.

Yknow i think this video is the perfect introduction to the Rain World MAP community! Saying that as someone watching a RW MAP for the first time haha. The song is PERFECT for the game, and everyone did so well! The movement & transitions in each shot are wonderful, and there were several parts i just had to keep going back to rewatch.

1:13 is the karma mural for violence but with artificer and a scav! Very cool!

oa that was absoluetly bonkers! Projects like this are so ambitious and community involved, I'd never even really seen MAPs until I got into Rain World and it's always so impressive. Anyway, if there was one thing I had to garner from this MAP it's that vultures are basically the game's primary antagonists.

I know I've already said this on Tumblr but this MAP was definitely the best I've ever participated or spectated on! The atmosphere while everyone was working on their parts was heartwarming and motivating, it led me into meeting so many wonderful people and helped me get more involved - and I'm so glad I snatched up my part when I could :] Speaking of parts - everyone put so much time and effort into them and it really really shows, it was worth the wait to see such an amazing project come to life over the months! It was an experience I don't think I'd trade for the world - everyone involved have been so so welcoming and patient and if I'm completely honest I've teared up a little seeing the end result The effort put into just the credits alone was phenomenal - I can't stress it enough but all the work seriously paid off [ I have no idea how you stuck with so many art pieces! ] and it looks incredible Theres so much detail and care put into this and I don't think I'll be getting bored of rewatching it any time soon :]
