Escape From New York was so much different but I love the fuck out of both of these kickass films. Apparently they were just as fun to make as they were to watch.
@@thenamlesssubscriber5484 hell yeah that's who the avengers should've gotten Snake "Fuckin" Plissken Thanos would've shit his pants as snake walks up with his trade Mark Mac 10 with scope and silencer not a single fuck given
My dad got me into seeing these movies. I loved how wacky and silly they can be, but also have serious themes. Then I learned about the metal gear solid games. Which are basically these movies made into games. Same main character in each game is codenamed snake. Big boss in mgs 3 even looks like snake plissken with the eyepatch and one blue eye haha. My headcannon is escape from New York/LA are in the same universe as metal gear solid.
I remember watching the show the grim adventures of billy and Mandy, when they busted out with haas Delgado. I believe the creator of the show said he was trying to cross snake/ash together and made haas Delgado

I believe he's the inspiration for Slade Wilson aka Deathstroke (Even though Escape From New York came out after Deathstroke.) And his mission is the inspiration for The Suicide Squad.
+navylaks2 Snake Plisken is the inspiration for me wearing an eyepatch that covers up the septuple vision in my right eye. (Not joking my right eye is pretty much useless, i cover it for my own convenience and safety while driving)
