Plitvice Lakes to Zadar S4 E4 

Two very distinct parts made up today’s ride. From inland Plitvice Lakes we travelled verdant countryside toward the range of hills separating us from the Adriatic. Some serpentine road took us up the hills and we emerged from a tunnel to a spectacular view of the Adriatic, with Pag Island illuminated by a sunlight. As we wound down the hills to the Adriatic Highway the Island filled our view - its eastern side completely barren and glowing yellow. After a 20 min ferry trip we arrived on Pag Island and rode through the barren east side and the more vegetated west side to Pag old town for lunch and a wander. Some more spectacular views along the Pag until the short bridge carried us over to the mainland and the short ride to Zadar. #croatia #motorcycleadventure #pagisland #zadar
