Not only does this soundtrack slap but Plok himself is such a cool fucking character concept. Whenever he gets mad, he literally just has a giant V over his eyes and I love that so god damn much.
You think this is impressive just go check out Tim Follins work on the NES game Solstice, or the ZX Spectrum (which was almost literally a beeper for sound) more specifically for Agent X. He also has works for Silver Surfer and Pictionary for SNES and Time Trax for the Sega Genesis.
One of my favorite game OSTs of all time. Lemme tell you man, Tim Follin goes hardcore on these tracks, and most of his work was on shitty NES games. I hope Plok 2 comes out in the future, it deserves to!
Plok is such a fantastic game! It’s so underrated and fun with a lot of creative abilities, fun mechanics, colorful/vibrant visuals, lots of charm and an AMAZING godlier soundtrack! It’s such an underrated SNES game that deserves more love.
Not a harmonica fan but...Plok is my 2nd best SNES score just behind Castlevania 4 just because that's like the perfect orchestra. Overall, Plok is an amazing orchestra just with less instruments but not less power. Maybe less textures but not less harmonies!!!
