While trying to acquire the entire Thomas & Friends range of characters that ERTL produced during their 20 year run, I found myself purchasing many large bundles of collections off of eBay to achieve this goal. In the process of doing so, I would often come across models which were either damaged or in a heavily played with state. Rather than throwing them out, I put everything into a box of other damaged models which would serve the purpose of providing spare parts to fix other models down the road. As I began getting into making customs, I started reaching into this box of damaged models to source what I needed for these projects. Over the years it has definitely become quite useful to have around.
In this video we go through my entire scrap yard of ERTL models which have reached the end of the line. Mostly everything in here has some kind of issue whether its heavily damaged paint or broken/missing pieces. There's also some stuff in here which were either failed projects I attempted, or projects I've taken a break from in hopes of coming back to someday. Not everything in this box is ERTL, as I've also sourced other Thomas & Friends toy ranges for some of the necessary parts I needed for customs. In addition to this, there's some things in this box I honestly don't know what they're doing here.
