I grew up doing snow removal and I have done this with significance in my 20's but in the mountains adds that spice to life that most miss. Now you need to show more, the break downs, when you need chains, what and why you do, this will grow your channel.
REALLY impressive. Nice job, meticulous..and takes a lot of concentration with the right amount of judgment thrown in. SUPER-mesmerizing..almost put me to sleep, that New Holland is so quiet and smooth!
@@bmwclubanthonyali5556 too much money? I don't think you make much money plowing for the city. The pay is about as much as a gas station worker, atleast where I live.
Wow, backwards up a snowy road in the dark. Super impressive. Slight panic attack watching, but 😁👍🤘. Thanks for video. Tops in my list of peaceful videos.
Got give ya massive props for having the bravery within your heart and trust within yourself to do this job, from this aspect it seems like quite a bit of snow. Also seems like a extra 4 inches or small wings for your plow would do perfect on these rodes to grab what looks like a bit of left over snow on each side when making a pass in certain places
If you're not driving fast enough, and the banks are tall enough, then you can't "flip your banks"/roll the snow over the tops of the banks and so some will fall back down. This tractor would probably need to be going full speed to flip his banks in some places. That's why I prefer a truck personally🤟
I agree good sir. I also believe most of the vehicles I seen parked in the driveways were not 4x4 or AWD. I couldn't imagine not having that living with so much snow. But, I guess they make do.
Really enjoy watching the videos. I could not imagine what it is like to plow snow in the day light let alone in the dark like that. Not a job for a rookie lol. Be safe out there as you plow snow.
Props to the driver of that truck. Those roads are barely wider than the plow blade. One wrong snag with that blade could jerk that truck around and send it careening down the mountain. Looks like the snow is coming down at the rate of about 1-2 inches per hour. Non stop that could dump 2-3 feet of snow in a 24hr period.
Just visited Austria from the US. This country blew me away from its culture, food, and amazing beauty. We were able to stay at Hotel Schloss Mönchstein. A recommended must if you visit Salzburg. Thanks for sharing the beauty of the alps.
Been there. I loved it but I wouldn't live in such conditions. I'm Greek and sunny but now I'm a truck driver in USA, which I don't like as much I like and miss my dad's village in Greece
Here in the States, they just block everyone's drive ways in with feet of snow. I see Canadians have a gate to put down @ entrance/driveways it would be nice to have such tools and operators. Nice job on the narrow roads!!
Those narrow roads with a cliff to one side give me the willies. I live on the prairies and there's generally always enough room to have a proper 2 lane road and the places deep in the bush with the little goat trail roads at least have the decency of being on flat level ground lol.
Sorry, just looks like snow :) You have to have one of the best jobs in the world, you get to work in that beautiful area every day and yes, that snow looks amazing! Surely you pinch yourself every once in a while, right?
Do you ever hit those markers? What techniques are used to know where to plow? It looks like it's a combination of great spatial memory and those markers?
I just stumbled on your channel m...I been plowing for my local township for 5 years I absolutely love to plow im very at peace when I do I will enjoy watching these
Oooo. I love this snow. Not into snow removal necessarily. I just get all comfy feeling with deep snow. Nobody can ask me to cover a shift. Nobody is likely to drop in. Enough weather warning to stock up on schnapps and Irish Creme. Firewood. Yeah. Staycation.
At 13:00 he goes a little to far, you can see the front left side just dip a bit. He says something in his native tongue Along the lines That was close lol 😆
I'm writing this response twice because your comment can be taken two unique ways. One way is, in my opinion, fine, while the other is missing the point of neighbors entirely. Note: Normally not much of a commenter here, and I would have surely replied with neither response if your comment had only been clear. 1.) If you are being serious, and you're saying that the neighbors do, in fact, love him in that they are very appreciative of him, then yes, fine, I agree. Weird ellipsis use, but fine. 2.) If, however, you are commenting sarcastically (maybe the ellipsis was a bad choice), that means your point of view on this is far enough away from mine that maybe I can give you another point of view that I would argue is healthier. You may disagree, and that is your right. If you live in a snowy climate, as I do, in the northern US, you get lots of snow at a time. The amount of snow shown in this video is both normal in my area and not even 50% of what we sometimes get. When this happens, the city/town/county/state/whatever sends out plows to plow the streets because commerce. There are tons of people who work weekends, so it's a race to twilight to plow everything overnight any day of the week but 5 out of 7 times it's super critical and an essential service to clear fire lanes to homes. It sounds like a sort of peaceful job if you ask me. Not surprising to find it as ASMR. My point is, if you're commenting about the noise, I can tell you that larger louder plow trucks shake the house as the plow the road outside and I'd go out on a limb here and say that most people would find it rather soothing like a slow train rumble. If that is not enough for you. Consider the fact that moving snow is DIFFICULT by hand and time consuming and exhausting to do even with a snowblower. This man is saving what looks like multiple households of people from backbreaking work they'd have to do between waking up and getting in their car for work. So before the shower...so right away for a lot of people. Bed. Cold. Thumbs down from me, you may feel differently. These folks now have critical access to town/emergency services/food. Less work to do. Don't have to be cold. If they got woken up, they could probably adjust the blankets, get cozy, snooze for another 2-3 hours in the morning and be happy that instead they don't have to get up and become the Michelin Man only to sweat out their entire undershirt and destroy their back shoveling. This is not something you take for granted or complain about. This is a great example of what it means to be a good neighbor. TL;DR - write better comments Laughed pretty hard at the burp.
I think you're doing a wonderful job. Also if you can get your workaholic tractors windows ceramic coated. It will make sure water cant stick to your windows
Sofaking satisfying . I'm from South Alberta and BC in 🇨🇦... we call that a fuck ton of snow. Buddy's a great Operator and has balls that clank when he walks . Very Well done. Now we can get the grain trucks out lol
Out of curiosity, why do you lift your plow in certain areas rather than putting the plow straight and plowing through it and pushing the snow with you, then depositing the snow left or right of the road?
Did the exact same thing for 6 winters only I plowed businesses and then other shifts would switch to the bucket and load all the piles into dump trucks. Plowing was fun, loading trucks was not so much.
Serious question. Is mail delivered when snow is that deep ? I saw several mailboxes and wondered. Whoever is operating the snow plow, knows what he is doing.
I'm sure the little villages are very quaint, but their roads are stupidly narrow for snow removal. Looks like they've got a very skilled snowplow operator at least!
These guys are absolutely brilliant, the night before you need to leave the cars in the car park are covered up to the roofs deep in snow, You wake up in the morning and the car park it completely cleared of snow and all the cars are sitting there ready for you the load up and leave.
Must be hydrostatic drive to be switching directions so quick. I guess our case 150 at work can be as quick but uses a lever switch on the column and left foot clutch. Kind of a nuisance to be switching directions so much in it.
Is your tractor special built for this or is it a standard size? It looks like a small tractor with a lot more Horse power? It also must be Weighed down with weights too?or with calcium tires for weight?
