Very good info. It reminds me of why I am not a great student in large classes. I don't absorb material well passively. When the lecture asks "Does the make sense?" , I cringe at the silence because I know there must be students that don't understand the content but do not have the confidence nor the space to "interrupt" his lecture. Discussion based learning it where it is at. Lectures need some injections of active participation! I hope he gets out of New York during his lectures examples. I get it. It's local but also most students are interested in global soil dynamics. "Questions?"
