Plunder Patroll is one of the best designed archetypes ever imo. I really wish Konami (especially tcg exclusives) did this with more consistency.

Ravenwing is such a good boy, it really does a lot of things for the deck. Searching it in the opp. turn just to cycle the whitebeards again is crazy strong. Also allows Full materials Moerk with the quick eff + blackbeard turn 1 more consistent overall. Now we just need the final ships and we good to go. Hopefully we'll also get a water ship, but one can only dream

7:27 Honest Nibiru is killer for the deck going first and second. You can do cl1. Whitebeard/Redbeard cl2. Nibiru, Nibiru wiping the board then summon a ship. On the next chain link White or Red will trigger their GY effect to either Redbeard equipping to the summoned ship or Whitebeard summoning redbeard from deck. Something goes for Forbidden Droplet at 8:32 ! With the list overall you may want to play an out to the Nibiru token as Plunder doesn't have an in-engine way of outing a token reasonably when it's atk/def because greater than 3500. Two options are Knightmare Cerberus or my personal favorite Geonator, give your opponent a Goldenhair for a giant token and easily OTK. Another neat thing about the Geonator play is you can steal your plunder right back with Emblem!

You said the replays weren't very characteristic of the deck's potential, but honestly, I think they're some of the most entertaining I've watched in a long time. Not regarding Plunder Patroll, just any deck in general. Also, as tight as room is, if Ash is too big of a problem, it might be worth it to test Called and Crossout Designator when we get that?

That first duel was like a chess match. Wish Yu-Gi-Oh was more like that across the board honestly.

it's honestly scary how that fire fist brig game went. they very nearly bounced back from gamma nib in the same chain. that sort of thing is a tossup for even things like dlink. admittedly, you could have fired it off earlier, but still.

This deck plays a lot better if you're on high-impact traps to slow your opponent down enough to give you time to snowball your resources. Summon Limit is really good in this deck since you can hit that 2-summon ceiling on your opponent's turn.

Well, you know why we don't play nibiru. Also, I like 3 of the fusion as it's a great discard fodder and get to either emblem or a patroll from deck to be equipped. You completely nailed the part where it's hard to pilot though : so many lines of play, and what ? At most two or three that are correct everytime ? First game against dinos, you could have used an emblem to make blackbeard, used it's effect, have it negated by dolka, reborn back whitebeard, have it negated as well, summon out redbeard, that way you can dodge unicorn if they target it for moerk, and probably avoid the lethal if they decided to go for tyranno first. Second game... you could have used blackbeard to draw one more and not get hit by ash on summon. Finally, I think you've tried to hard make moerk the most often where it's usually brann and lys you want to make that way the most (your build only play one fusion though) because it triggers the floating. And ironically it's moerk that's made through blackbeard most often. Mostly the advantage generated even outs the investment needed to make them, so the deck doesn't die as hard as it does to ash. And don't get me wrong, with the correct timing, it's still very deadly.

Also i'd like to add, Lys doesnt need to destroy to search, it NEEDS to be equipped with a plunder card to be able to search. This also means that you CAN ash Lys despite it not being equipped with a plunder card.

Been running a similar build with a slightly different extra deck, instead of accesscode talker and Toad, Dragite and White Aura Whale and I have been getting a lot of Plunder wins, 3 out of 4 surrender
