I love thrifting. Now that my youngest is an adult, she is not embarrassed to go thrifting, but loves the thrill of the hunt. Goes to show that moms really do know what they are talking about😊

I love thrifting for clothes! It’s always fun to find something that I wouldn’t be able to afford if it was new/retail price. My daughter’s clothes are about 80% thrifted! Please do this type of video again Misty ❤
Good stuff- do more clothing thrifting! My daughter went through a ten year period of time where she would ONLY wear thrift store finds- saving the planet and all. She found lots of good things.
I am very pleased with you thrifting at a common Goodwill store as most places have at least one. I think the denim shirt looked great for a layered look. You do not need to be able to fasten it. It looks more balanced with it left open. I honestly feel like you did a better job finding clothes than the fancy stylists did for you. I would enjoy a thrift store clothing shopping series.

I liked all the outfits you kept .I agree with you about the pants. The white boots aren't my style but they look very cute in you . I have a lot of thrifty clothes in my closet and I also donate a ton every year when I do a closet rehaul. If you have never watched hot mess mama . Please just watch the beginning of one of her videos where she says about being a judgment free zone and not letting the number on the scale or on your clothes define your happiness. I just love her she is hilarious. And Shein Hauls as well as the makeup subscription kits. I really like this. Type of video and I would love to see more.

I have lost 97 lbs this past year sooooo I went thrifting for a new wardrobe. It was so fun finding clothes that fit and affordable found tons of sweaters which I love a good warm soft pull over sweater 😊. Thank you for your inspiring videos and how we should love ourselves where we are in life and to be kind to others.

Agree! My favourite skirt and dress lengths , which I always wear, are Midi or Maxi. I find them more flattering, on me, than shorter styles., and I'm only 5ft 4 inch tall. I feel 'older and frumpy' ,and really uncomfortable, in shorter length styles.( I'm a fair bit older than you 😊) I, too, think you'd really rock long length dresses and skirts.❤❤ I really loved this Thrifting Vlog, and everything you chose. My heart breaks when I hear someone ask for another to be kind. I guess being on social media warrants that because you take a chance on reading comments from people that might not like themselves, have huge burdens, are plain nasty. I have lost a couple of hundred pounds in the past three years, I can't express the pain I feel when people, friends, relatives, co workers, who never turned around to look at me now want to be my friend and are all over me. I'm still the same person on the inside, yes, I'm sure I look very different, but still the funny, kind person that I was. Going back to my first sentence, Misty, you are beautiful and so brave. I love your content and I enjoy watching you. Thanks for sharing.

I'm impressed with your GW store. I've never been to one that has plus sizes separated by size & different prices on each item. I'm blessed with 3 small thrift stores, where I live, so I don't tend to shop for clothes, there, unless it's something that I can't find elsewhere. I'm used to paying $1-$2.50 for tops & jeans. The one thrift store has a $1/bag or 25¢/each room. 1 other store has half-priced Saturdays, and 2/3 stores have clearance sales on clothing during season changes - Winter to Spring and Summer to Fall. The other one has $1/piece clothing sales, as well.

You look great in the tops you picked out. I have been thrifting about 95% of my clothes for years. It's so fun and I find nicer things than I would at the dept stores. I end up trying pieces that really work on me that I would never find in the dept stores. Also it helps Mother Earth to thrift.
Go Misty, fit seems much better hun (i'm a big girl too, shorter than you with the same inseam lol and older too). Loved those jeans on you, think you should give them a chance. The denim shirt and the boots, score. Loved this as it shows you don't have to spend a lot or buy new throw away fashion. Love to you, Mark, Dad and kids(both 2 and 4 legged)
We have charity shops in the UK and I love going to them when I can ,you just never know what bargains you may find, like that wrangler shirt ,that is a good one . I think it's a good place to buy holiday outfits from as you can wear them Christmas day and donate them back again . I liked all you found especially those boots 😀I would of brought them in a flash too !. Thank you so much for doing this ,it was fun to go cloth thrift shopping with you and I hope will encourage others to give it a go ,you may just find a bargain too

Thrifting when I was a size 4,6,8,10 was fun…..but now at 12,14….much more challenging but doable. I am a size that still looks in other sizes for very over sized high quality. Just found an Eileen Fisher XS sweater that must have been extra extra oversized. Looked great as a three quarter length sleeve cropped sweater. Always check the men’s department for graphic tees, sweaters, sometimes pants.

I LOVE thrifting!! I think the burgundy jeans were great! I find that jeans often loosen up after wearing for a couple hours. I'm 61 yrs old, and I wear whatever I like, whether or not it's "in style". You go girl! Hugs from Toronto 🇨🇦
With used clothes sometimes a smaller size will fit because it has been a little stretched and a bigger size will fit because they have been shrunken a little bit I usually look at a size smaller and a size bigger than my size. Enjoyed your video, as always 😊
Misty I buy 99% of my clothes at thrift stores All name brands All my purses too I’ve found Coach and Dooney and many others I wear a petite Lg so I have to hunt but I’ve found some amazing stuff I love these kind of hauls

I did love the color of the jeans; I can see why you wanted to try them. Wasn't a fan of the boots...they looked too big and clunky, probably just a "me" thing. I've tried color pants on a few times before too and I just can't get myself to like them. I'll see other people wearing them and they look great though!
