just an FYI.. some flight attendants will insist that you can not use your own and have to use one with their airline's name on it... because... reasons.... most of them don't care though :) but be prepared for that one random person.....

I love how the baskets have fallen out of favor. I pick them up at thrift stores. They are great sturdy baskets you can truly use to carry things. You can spray paint to update the stain if you want.

@@RebeccaBahr I haven't flown in several years, the ones that I purchased 5to6 years ago worked perfectly. Not having to ask for one and "draw attention to myself" really made me feel more secure about flying. I just checked on Amazon and there are several listings for them. Just look for "plane seat belt extender". I think Southwest has one design and all other domestic flights have another design, so you have to read the listings carefully depending on which airline you choose to fly. But I highly recommend.

The last 3 flights, I have asked as I enter the plane to the flight attendants who are greeting, for a seat belt extender. Then I have sat as the minutes go by, everyone boards, and still have not the extender brought to me. My anxiety starts to rise up... and I ask again, and each time, have to ask a 3rd time. This is extremely frustrating and I have felt that everyone on the plane is aware. Unfortunately this makes me feel very very self conscious.

How do they make that work? What an amazing thing to do.

When I was in high school, all the girls were obsessed with buying Vera Bradley bags to use as backpacks lol I’ll always associate them with lugging around about 8 textbooks from class to class

I wouldn’t worry, I’m a lot younger than her and have a Vera Bradley backpack I’ve been using for school. Got a few compliments from my classmates every now and then. It’s I guess subjective on whether you think Vera Bradley is for young people or old people, but both groups still enjoy the product so it shouldn’t say much on the status of your youth.

I think, we’ll imo, I think you should embrace being a weirdo. I don’t think anyone should be defined solely by any one thing they like…whether its Vera Bradley or punk music. It’s what makes each of us an individual…it makes you unique. (& I realize maybe you weren’t being that serious with your comment, but I thought I’d throw this in anyway!!) I’ve always felt that mimicking others isn’t so much a form of flattery but lack of imagination & self-awareness. So whether one is 15 or 45 or 80, carry your Vera Bradley or floral patterns proudly…it’s just one unique thing that makes you YOU…& you shouldn’t have to be ashamed of that! Take care!!

It was probably just meant to always have an updated passport. I always renew mine when it's due even if I don't have immediate plans to travel.
