Winnie’s new toy is a Transformer Bot Bot. My son is addicted to them🤪. Pennington’s is a great store. I agree that it is pricey, but the quality is fab. I’ve had many items for many many years and they still look great. Addition Elle was their sister store, but I think they’ve all closed now. Reitman’s is also a sister store that carries both straight and plus, but I find their plus on the smaller side. But, no complains it’s still an option for quality clothing. Love your confidence all the time, but especially today💕

I went probably 40 yrs not wearing shorts until last year. I had a knee injury last year and my jeans (all I ever wear/own) didn't fit over the knee brace I had to wear. So I went to local Walmart to see if I could find shorts. They had shorts that look similar to the black ones you just bought, but in more of a sweatpant material minus fleece. I bought 3 pair, black, gray dark blue, and wore them all summer. Best thing was that they were only $6.99US a pair! I'm wearing them this summer as well.

I worked at Lane Btyand which is a plus size store in the states you can do on line as I don't think they are in Canada, they go from sizev14 to 28 I learned that you can be hot no matter what size you are wearing clothes that fit well is the most important thing!! You look gorgeous so glad you realize it!!

So glad that you had a good trip to Pennington's. I agree that some styles there are not always flattering for a younger group, but there are some nice things there. Really do miss them here in NL. That swim top looked really nice on you, I've never had a good feeling buying bathing suits ... EVER, I love the water so much. I just cant deal with the looks from people, they are probably not even looking at me but in my eyes they are 😢 That's not only for bathing shorts but shorts, leggings ... pretty much anything on the bottom. I've just decided if someone is thinking (lol or straight up saying) that I shouldn't be wearing something because of rolls, or stretch marks, or general fatness, they can sit and spin!!! If they have an issue with ME or MY body, that's on them!! Not me! Ya know?? Don't give the on lookers any power! YOU are fabulous!
You rock the swimsuit girl. The fact that it makes you feel good when wearing it will show! Sometimes paying a little for something that fits well is sooo worth it! The top and shorts were beautiful on you. I have spent my entire life hiding and thinking I looked horrible. I’m so done, I just enjoy life and wear shorts, swimsuits and tank tops. I was a size 0, a size 18, back to a size 6 and I’m now a 10/12. I was not happy at any size. But I feel okay at the size I’m at. I take meds for anxiety, ptsd, and depression which all add to weight gain, I just had a hysterectomy at 45 and I’m tired off battling to be the weight I was at 20. I’m the healthiest I’ve been in years, no longer anemic and thats the most important!

The one thing I would forever buy at Pennington is the bathing suit tops , I went to Hawaii a few years ago and splurged on two suit tops they’re very supportive and have worn and washed beautifully. I had some athletic capris in the same type of material and wore them with the suit tops while out and about touring Hawaii.

Good morning Miranda we have Penningtons in our small City here where I live. I am not the right size to shop in there but one thing I do by there is my bras. They have fabulous bras very very well-constructed good good quality and prices are a little higher than what you would pay at Walmart but you get a lot better bra. Anyone out there with smaller size in bras do not worry they can order in your size most times. I bought two bras there in January 2020 have been wearing them ever since and they look like new. I have a couple of the knotted sleeve t-shirts, but they definitely look better when the arm fits snug so the sleeve is a bit puffy. Busy day for me today - I get to go for a lovely little test this am at the doctor’s office 😉, then errands I’ve been putting off. So happy I’m getting my second Covid immunization this afternoon!! I’m meeting a friend for a Covid-safe Starbucks coffee afterwards (she said to celebrate lol, as she’s fully vaccinated too). At least I got five hours straight of sleep, so I’m good to go. Those sleeves were weird! I would have shown it to the salesperson. Maybe they had another one, maybe they could have given you a deep discount (and you could have taken in the bigger sleeve). The bathing suit looks great on you. I love that colour on you. And I agree - don't buy that top that pulled so easily. Jasper's nails would destroy it in seconds.
