We used to live 10 minutes from a border crossing. We’d often go to the U.S. for a weekend shopping excursion, especially at Christmas, or just for a few minutes to get gas, eggs or milk.

Absolutely love that bathing suit!! This makes me want to go to the States and Target for shopping, they really do have cool stuff that Canada doesn't. So cool to see that you crossed at St. Stephen - I used to go across a lot when I lived there.

It looks like the first leg of your journey was a success. You guys have so much patience with Winnie in the toy section. She takes so long to choose her prize, especially with the restrictions of having to take it on the plane (or leave it in the jeep). The boys' rough-housing takes me back to when my own sons were that age (there are 4 years between mine). I laughed when Cooper bent down to look in the camera (near the weight room, I think) and suddenly Sky dive-bombed him. That's exactly what my older one would have done to his brother. 😍😍 Love you. I hope the plane ride was uneventful with Winnie. I worry about her flying after being sick so recently.

If you tell them you have never been to Chick Fill-a before you get the VIP treatment and free items. There is one in a near by city here in Ontario and we tried it out having heard so many great reviews of the American restaurants. Told them we were newbie’s and they load us up with free food galore on top of what we purchased. Highly recommend - lemonade whip is a must and the southwest salad - yum!

It’s so cool seeing you in my area. I’m in NH and my husband works in Massachusetts. We just say “ Mass” lol easier. Hope your not driving to the airport. The streets getting there are stressful lol sharp exits, confusing etc. Have fun!

Welcome to the USA. Miranda,I recently learned that my hubby's ancestors were from Nova Scotia. Apparently from the geneology research my son has done,we have a park in Nova Scotia called the Landers Park. Have a great and safe trip. Wish I had the funds to drive down to Florida,visit Disney,my Tampa friends,and Clearwater or St. Petersburg beach.

So, how easy was it to go across the border? Did you have to show all the vaccine and testing information? Just curious on the protocol at a border crossing out on the east coast vs here at Niagara Falls.

FYI don’t use tap in the US. Use the chip instead. We ran into issues awhile ago and the bank told us the tap is the issue. We love Chick-FIL-A we just got one in our city in Ontario. It’s super busy all the time. PS grab some Chick-FIL-A sauce in Target on your way home. We stocked up! It’s so good!

making it to Boston and the stops were great to see. Boston roads have been talked on the history Channel did a show on how crazy the roads are. If the boys di a all nighter they might sleep on the plane. I know the feeling of missing your turn and spending mire tine trying to get back. It is nice to see you try foods you dojt get in Canada.

That hotel looks nice. I have stayed in Ellsworth a few times. ~ In a few weeks first trip to Calasis for a graduation. Have a great time on your trip to Florida!!! Hopefully it wont be too humid. The two times we went in Feb and in March/ April was way too crowded and humid even for me and I run cold...
