Hello Amie,bless your heart for working with the plyarn…it seems like it would be hard on my hands.This evening I’m working on my version of a temperature blanket I started in the new year. Hubby and I celebrated our 52nd Wedding Anniversary 🎊today so it was a wonderful day.Take care 😊🧶🩷

❤️ congratulations, how very romantic. How have you decided to represent your temperatures ? They always turn out so beautiful. Are you working the current year ? Definitely 100% not my favorite fiber (?) material to work with. Highly not recommend as a first choice.

@@HookedOnWishing thank you 🙏🏻 I wanted a different temperature blank🙃I didn’t want to do the lows just the high temp.I set up a range of temperatures for each colour I chose. I am only doing the high temperature for one day a week…I chose Mondays.I’m making the Polycromatic Blanket by Crystal of Bag O Day with white being my main colour.Yes it’s for the current year…starting the first Monday in January.It’s different but I’m enjoying ing it.😊🧶🩷

This reminds me of how to make plarn for homeless mats. (Using the plastic garbage bags) It was part of the ministry I was involved in. I made a few mats, but just hurt my hands hurt too much and it forced me to use the knife hold. I learned the pencil hold.

Yep, a friend recently mentioned the mats when I told her about my hunt for plastic. Im just not sure how earth friendly it is. I will use this bag till it crumbles to justify all the plastic it's taking. Its a labor intensive project for sure.
