Plywood and 1x4 Faux Coffered Ceilings DIY 

I am starting a similar project this weekend. I stripped the ceiling with 1"x2" strips. Then am using 1/4" luan. I was worried that my lights would need to be moved to hit the center of a coffer. Yours did not and looks fine. Thank you, good job. Also I was worried about the room not being square and the panels not meeting. 1x4's covered the gaps. 👍👍👍

What kind of plywood did u use? What thickness and it seems to have some finish on it?
