TMPK: FLAT COFFERED CEILING EDITION!!!!!! songs featured in sequential order: Guesthouse - Do You Thing Peter Spacey (ft. Tane) - SnowJah Skrxlla - Caution Bunker Buster - Advice from a Caterpillar (Part 2)
A true testament to your performing and editing skills that I just watched a 21 minute video on a project I have zero interest in and enjoyed every second of it. Thank you.
@@TMPK Me = isolated on a farm since March 2020 and clubbing to a coffered ceiling video. Gonna have this playlist while I renovate this old house. Liked; subscribed; and notified.
Oh my gosh! Jared Turner, you are so talented and it warms my heart to see how meticulous you are with measuring ... your work is outstanding! In addition, I was thoroughly entertained and enjoyed the entire video. I just bought a one level townhome that was built in 1976 and it has popcorn ceilings ... I look at them every night and make sure they know they are COMING DOWN. I am now considering having the living room and dining rooms coffered! End result is beauitiful! Thanks you for your video!
Myra Bartlett Thanks! A coffered with bead board is a good way to cover. Here is another way to cover those popcorns. I did tongue and groove v-groove on my living room, dining and foyer. We scraped the rest of the rooms and had to touch them up with sheetrock mud before painting them. 👇 ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-e_TxbyJPoN0.html
I have watched this video dozens of times…sometimes for the pure enjoyment of it, and others times because I plan on doing this to my ceiling very soon…thanks for the inspiration and entertainment. Keep it going man!
Love the video style! Keep them coming! I've been renovating my house, and these are the first videos that have been highly informative, and really fun to watch.
I just hired a finish contractor to do our living room. I showed him your video and hired him to do the same thing for us. He did almost exactly except he used a different trim inside of the 1x8 boxes. He just finished and it looks beautiful. Thanks for sharing.
I saw a ceiling on IG and didn’t know what it was called until I came to you tube and watched not 1 but 2 of your videos. I’m in love with coffered ceilings and now have a whole new respect for people who install them. Hats off to you for jobs well done.
Absolutely love the ceiling. You are very entertaining and it’s encouraging to see a doable possibility . The icing on the cake from a plain uninspiring room.👍🏼👍🏼
I love watching you do whatever! Your entirely hilarious and so down to earth. You make home improvenment fun! Thank you so much for everything you do and never stop doing it!
I plan on doing my own ceiling later and I'm glad I found this video... the editing and music in this video is definitely what got me to subscribe to this channel. plus the finish product is what I'm looking to do for my own house
Totally inspired to start my project Very entertaining yet helpful. Extremely impressed by your skills completing this project single handed Keep the great videos coming
You have an ingenious structure to these videos. Entertaining intro, great descriptions of your work, and of course awesome editing skills. I hope you have big plans to get paid for all this hard work. You deserve it!
We are going to do this in our home. This video was not only very useful from a information stand point, but highly entertaining and made me laugh. Thanks for saving me math on my crown molding. The music and editing were spot on. Heading over to your channel to check out other videos now.
The best, and most entertaining how-to video out there. We are currently doing this in our "receiving room"(room adjacent to foyer). During 2020 we watched your coffered ceiling video to DIY our living room, and it is amazing. It takes you a couple of hours, but takes us months.😂
The very first video of yours I watched and I instantly subscribed!!! You are hilarious but also very knowledgeable. I appreciate you for this video because I opted not to get coffered ceilings in my home because of the price but still want the look. This video was perfect!! Thank you!!
We've been in our home for 35yrs...yep 35yrs and this is exactly what I've wanted on my l/r & d/r ceiling. Our ceilings are only 8ft, but I think it's still do-able. My hubby is pretty handy and I'm good at helping so I think we can handle this one...fingers crossed! Thanks for this video, you make it look easy, even though I know it's hard work. Thanks again. Open to any advice you might have since our ceiling is only 8ft. The math/measurements are so helpful and the visual the best. Look forward to more of your videos!
Thanks! I’d say a flat coffered ceiling on an 8ft ceiling is the way to go! It also would look good with 1x6s or 1x4s if you’re thinking 1x8s are too hard to lift, some of them are heavier than others. I would probably still use 1x8s on the perimeter with a crown close to 5 inches so you have a good amount of 1x still exposed after crown. Good luck!
I bought foam ceiling molding and it was very easy to install…for a girl. I could not have done what you did because I don’t have the strength…you can’t tell the difference between wood and foam once painted…excellent finish work JT
I really enjoy your videos. Very informative and you’re an excellent teacher. It’s cool how you do the music with it to. It’s like the nail gun is synced into the music. I only noticed that because I played drums. Very cool.
Do you edit your own videos, because if so, you rock. Most entertaining home improvement videos I have watched. Love it. If no, whoever does it, is doing an amazing job.
Best how to video I have ever seen. This guy is a true pro and very entertaining. Would really like to find someone that good to do our ceiling. Much appreciated!
Just found this channel..love the editing how every nail gun shot ,hammer blow or smacking something all times up with the beat of the song..with a freestyle rap as a chaser..good work as well
I too was today years old when I learned you cannot spell Saturday without turd. Cheers to you sir, I like yourself, have many different interests and its nice to see that you put them all to use in a creative way, great information and it shows that you know what you are doing. All layered in with some nice comedy, you sir, have yourself a subscriber!
Very entertaining and informative. I don’t know how you put up those long boards solo working out toward the ends like you did. I’d screw that up every time. Great result and I loved the editing, too.
Dude, you are fantastic at everything involved here. I actually am semi-interested in the task at hand, but my lack of attention span had me skipping out on other folks' videos after 3-4 minutes. I could have watched this for another hour. Bravo, thanks for putting in all the effort this must have required. I'll be watching the rest of your videos, regardless of whether they have any applicability. Standing O right here. Take care!
omg..your so funny..thank you for your ability to make me laugh while trying to figure out what ceiling I'm going to put in my basement around all these crazy pipes..
Who ever does your editing makes you entertaining to watch start to finish. Great ideas and instructions. Thanks for all the work. Subscribed just because I look forward to more entertaining content.🤓
looking to cover my ceiling and found this video. i subscribed in the first 2 minutes based on your fun editing alone! I hope you other videos are at least 1/10th as entertaining. Can't imagine how much time the editing takes. but it's fun! hope you are well
😅 thanks man, the hardest part about making videos is just doing it. I should force myself to do more often cause I’m always happy with it in the end 😌
@@TMPK Hahaha.. yep, for me the easier part is in construction and the harderst is to edit those long hours of content trying to finish with a simply video.
Wow man... You're VERY, VERY Talented, bro! Not just with your carpentry skills, but also with editing 👌 You truly deserve way more subs than you have!
Thank you! The math is the hardest part. Well that, and lifting those boards over your headed and trying to get them lined up right before you nail it. That’d be a lot easier with a helper or build yourself a wooden helper. Something that can hold the board an inch or so from the ceiling while you work your way down nailing it tight. Good luck!!
I didn’t know it existed. GOD answering my Prayer today. 1st Video and RU-vid suggested your channel. Thanks RU-vid!!! I think I’m going to try this myself now!!! Oh I Subscribe after seeing this Video!
