The Kremlin says the Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Russia next month. This will be PM Modi's first visit to Russia in nearly five years and also the first one since the invasion of Ukraine. During the bilateral visit, PM Modi is expected to reaffirm his commitment to the India-Russia relationship. Both countries could also sign a defence logistics pact to facilitate deeper military engagement. Since the beginning of the Ukraine war, the West has imposed hefty sanctions on Russia, which has driven Moscow to deepen its ties with China. Earlier this year, Russian President Vladimir Putin and Chinese President Xi Jinping reaffirmed their "no limits partnership" - a worrisome situation for New Delhi. The ONLY way this could happen is when the west, particularly the U.S. orders India to instigate an attack and then blames China (as they did with the 2020 'second wave' delta-variant courtesy of Ft Detrick). What is the surprise, Russia played its role as a non adversary stand towards India, all these decades since 1963 ? After 1971 , India's war with her immediate neighbour Pakistan has henceforth moved Russia little more. Russia is not immediate neighbour especially ,hence Russia has not become India's adversary so far. But Russia's recent approach towards the Democracies of the planet is regrettable and unacceptable, especially its military action in taming action. Secondly Russia's invitation towards Pakistan in rebuilding an already existed corridor, or already proposed corridor ,a connectivity between Mumbai, Tehran and Moscow. But last minute Russia took a U turn against India on behalf of Pakistan. Prime Minister Modi is very much clever to understand Russia's Crude Oil diplomaccy. But for Indian point of view. Putin had visited 3 Asian countries after the Russian election. Like other influential world leaders, he didn’t stop by to say “Hi” to Modi even though India is just next door of Asian countries he visited. Now Modi had to go to Russia to meet Putin after the Indian election. Modi must did something very bad to ask forgiveness.
