PMD Explorers of Sky ENDING REACTION (Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Sky #15) 

There's something so sad and innocent about the final chapter being called "our last adventure", despite the fact you're saving the world, or maybe even the universe, from time being destroyed, your characters still view it as an adventure just like any other, like how a child would see it. Really makes the ending even sadder.

This game means so much to me got me through a lot in my childhood. It’s an absolute masterpiece.

At the start I answered your question on whether you'd cry at the ending or not by saying that a grown man would cry unrepentantly at the end, and I can certainly say that you held up a lot better than I ever did on any of my runs through this game.

I remember when my brother got ahold to this game nearly a decade ago. It was wither preowned or given to us with its old save file. We were an Eevee named Xavie and our partner was a Squirtle named Xao. I was right next to my brother when he went through this chapter, and I read through the dialogue for him. As I read the ending, I was loosing words cuz I couldn't stop crying. I went for a nap after that, it was too emotional for me. ;w;

I'm not crying. I'm crying like a man 💪💪💪 Seriously though I've never seen an ending that does it better than this. I still cry even after playing the game just thinking about it. Your literal best friend sees you die, and still hasn't gotten over it after months, but that's not it. Your literal family at the guild you never get to come back home to also experiences YOUR death. Not to mention the OST makes it even more sad. Play friends who've never even played a Pokemon game before but they know about this scene and the song. That's how crazy this is

As a kid despite how angry i got that dialga kept kicking my ass at the very end constantly, when i finally got to the ending it also made me cry. No other game since sky came out has ever made me feel that way.

Funny how when I got to this point in my first playthrough back in 2009, I didn't cry. I guess I didn't get it at the time. Now that I'm older, this ending strikes me hard, more than any other game I believe.

It's funny how temporal tower is one of my all-time favourite pieces of video game music even though I haven't played this game

The ending to Explorers of Sky/Time is the most I've ever cried at a game, I think it was the first, I could actually feel my heart breaking just as the partner's was. The story building and the character development was incredible was incredible, it made you feel part of the story, I love the Pokemon Mystery Dungeon series and really I wish they went through with the anime series instead of it just being promotional

As someone who's played this game repeatedly this ending still gets me i have been playing PMD since 2020 and i always love these games but sometimes it hits me hard.

God thanks my partner wasn't a eevee. That would have made this part way harder.
