Plot Twist: (Insert random name)'s nostalgialess/Bad trama Nostalgialess/Bad trama: increases all stars by 1 when recieving a nostalgic attack inseat of talking damage
This whole game was an absolute cinema. I dont know what possesed them in the kitchen back in 2007, but they definitely cooked something irreplacable to this day.
I remember my first time beating Primal Dialga. I was a Skitty and my partner was Pikachu. I felt so badass for defeating a giant legendary as a tiny kitten.
***** Then you fade away, I don't care if Dialga brings you back. I almost cry every time I think about my Treecko partner sobbing on the beach afterward.
yeah I hear you mate, like it seriously felt like these characters were dying. I mean none of them did cause dialga gave them a get out of paradoxical ceasing to exist but by god it hurt to watch
@Tom Zampiga Gen 5 shows that game freak can make a decent story if they put in the effort... unfortunately they’ve just gotten lazier and lazier post gen 5.
@ApolloX44 The spirte work and animation was easily the best in any Pokemon game. There is so much detail and thought put into every single Pokemon sprite, as opposed to the 3D garbage.
@ApolloX44 Every single Pokémon has a unique idle animation and doesn't just stay completely unmoving and lifeless like in literally every other Pokémon game. Pretty much objectively better than the rough, stiff Gen 8 models.
@ApolloX44 They all have unique idle animations that are specific to them. Nobody looks like they're taking crack, the movement just makes them feel actually alive and not like cardboard cutouts. Who cares about a few pixels? It still looks good.
ulluubloo Meowth is OP as fuck in these games! I one shoted rayquaza only using Combo griffe (I dunno the english name soz.) Its the attack were you hit up to five times.
necroplastful I beat him with my rioule and trecko combo you cant go wrong with this combo Trecko used giga drain i had 2 swords dance up focus punch and bam died before i could hear the best part of this song
+necroplastful Skitty is also OP as hell in these games. Skitty learns Copycat most of the time, and that allows you to use moves you normally cant learn, such as Roar Of Time (Unless you went back for Dialga, which I did), and even Darkrai's Dark Void if you have him miss and start using it on him...
Mainstream games: Pokemon is all about having fun and growing with your Pokemon. Mystery Dungeon: Pokemon is all about having fun and then getting hit with the realization that the timid and shy partner you helped grow into a strong and confident leader will see you die in front of them and they will go back home alone while you're powerless to prevent them from losing that confidence and becoming a timid Pokemon again.
@@wilmercuevas6491 in Explorers of Sky after defeating Primal Dialgayou get a new whole story arc about your character getting Nightmares, meeting Manaphy and the main revelation that Dakrai was the mastermind and responsible of turning you into a Pokemon, after defeating him he tried to escape trough a portal, Palkia cut in half the portal defeating Dakrai who nows wander around the map with amnesia
I know a way to successfully take from their shops: 1, have a trawl orb 2, find the exit 3, make sure no enemies in room 4, use trawl orb 5, take items 6, go to exit
This whole fight would have been a lot easier if you just brought a Snickers. Primal Dialga: YOU DARE TO BRING RUIN TO THE TOWER!!!! You: here, have a snickers. Better? Dialga (now normal): BETTER. "You're not you when you're hungry. Snickers satisfies".
Nahhhh Easier if you are riolu and have Focus Punch since if it critical hits He's almost dead Or luckily If you have high level Just Don't need to do it as long as you think you can land a **FALCON PAWCNH** on him everything will be alright
lucariotime890 how about one of those fancy seeds that raise your attack through the roof. Dialga uses Roar of Time, you live by the skin of your teeth and start preparing Focus Punch, hoping for the insane son of ***** to come to you so you knock him out in 1 clean hit. #Beentheredonethat
So i woke up today to find that all my progress in my current Sky file was erased At first i was pissed But then i was happy BECAUSE I HAVE A EXCUSE TO PLAY MY FAVORITE GAME OF ALL TIME AGAIN!
Screw that I would have been pissed off, if I know anything the game is super long so just playing through it would be a massive choir I also hope that I get my favorite Pokemon and then hope for treecko as a partner rioule and treecko are a amazing combination
Zee Kusa Easy i had a rough time the first time but that was when i was young but yea it is super easy now the only boss i had trouble i had was probably Groudon but that's only because of the huge difficulty spike but its funny cause i just beat Diagal Rioule and Treecko you cant go wrong with that combo
+DarkshadowXD63 groudon was the easiest boss, i got stuck on diagla for days and i have sky darkness and time and on my darj save as pikachu i still haven tbeat him
I'm a game designer, when i first started learning my teacher said to me that music isn't that important in games. I realy was upset in hearing this beacuse if the game is made well, music is like the icing on a well done cake. People will forever remember these games for this very reason
When a spinoff game is better than the entire main series. And im not overexaggerating, nothing in the main series comes close to this masterpiece of a plot
@@niteriemcfarlane5285 X/Y had a lackluster story that never even picked up until the final act of the game. Legends Arceus is a good one though, so you can calm down.
It shouldn't be primal for dialga and palkia, it should be a transcendent form because space and time don't generally have a beginning, unless your talking about the big bang
kingGreen1235 Well time and space may not have beginnings but Dialga and Palkia did not exist until Arceus created them iirc, so they may have had much more power when Arceus first created them (along with Giratina) than they do now. Either way, I'm sure Dialga and Palkia will get an awesome upgrade in the future, whether it be Primal Reversion or a transcendant form like you said.
Gabriel Deola Isn't Arceus the God of Pokemon? He created Groudon and Kyogre as well right or wrong? If correct, they have Primal versions so shouldn't Palkia and Dialga get Primal versions too...or maybe something similar but different?
I don't necessarily mean this specific Primal Dialga but just that they introduce a primal form for Dialga in the main games considering how the concept of it is already there.
This theme still gives me shivers after all these years. It is so intimidating yet inspirational at the same time, you are in front of probably one of the most powerful creatures in existence yet the possibility to save the world still exist
@@speedupslowdown358The fact that it still sounds calm is what makes it intimidating because it makes it sounds like Dialga isn’t taking this fight seriously
This was the first game I played where I actually cared about the plot....I thought this was the best finale ever to a game. And now that years have passed and I have played so many story driven games, I got worried if this would hold up. Glad to say it does, and remains one of the best most emotional endings to a game.
TheFingerTrapMaster I never played this one much but this sums up my play through Pokèmon White version 2 (my first Pokèmon game.) It held up even better than I remember.
How dare this game be almost 12 years old...Time is still my favorite spin-off of all time and the only game EVER where I have legitimately teared up at the end
Just finished the game, definitely one of the most underrated games in gaming history. Totally amazing, good characters, good story, nice OST... I'll never forget it.
You know you've done something friggin amazing when your spin-off series has everything a game needs. Amazing Story with great pacing, cool sprite graphics for a GBA game, AMAZING OST, really addictive gameplay for those who like it and generally a great experience. Also it made me bawl my friggin eyes out twice. Yeah...This game's amazing.
Indeed. Its fairly hard for a game to make me want to finish but this game makes me want to start it again when I just finished it. Most of the time, even when I do beat a game, its just there picking dust after I finish it one time.
I owe this game my current life... This game helped me overcome my fears as a child. This is a song of bravery for me. I finally cut off my abusive mother mere minutes ago and it took every ounce of courage I had to do it... This was playing in the background as I did, to help me feel braver.
Im Happy because Guys Like U think like me , im 15 years old i Played IT as i was 8 this Game is the best Game Nintendo ever made, even If i die i will never forget this Game . I learned so much from IT .
If you zoom in on the torso area you can see that Darkrai's arms are crossed... "I am disappointed at this angry blue sonofabitch. Better glare edgily at its fine ass instead of putting it in a coma or blowing its head off with shadows."
2008... God I feel old. Where did time go... I remember playing this when I was like 8 years old. I was a torchic and my partner was a treecko. This was the only game I ever used to play but that is long gone. Now this year I'm doing my exams. I miss when I was younger :(. Life was so much more simple.
Shet, same thing happening here. I miss being a kid playing this with my mates, now nobody plays this anymore, they even sold their DS and I'm the only one who kept it. Sigh.
+Risk Mcrisky I got it same year as you and hell im still playing it to this day I've beaten it at least 5-6 times but I still cry over Grovyle and myself disappearing every time. I may be a freshman in high school but I'll never outgrow pokemon its one of those things that just sorta sticks with you that you never want to even consider getting rid of it
Aaaahh, I can't help but be on the verge of tears every time I hear this. The song is so full of every bit of final resolve, and perfectly states every feeling of climactic action that could be put into this game. It's just beautiful. What makes me sad about it, though, is that what happens immediately after the battle is one of the first game endings to make me cry. And for a game of it's time and graphics, that's a lot. All I can say is, I've never felt for a game so intensely than I have for this one.
So I've listened to a few remixed versions of this song, and while they're nice, there's not been ONE (imo) that captures this song quite like the original. I dunno what it is about it; the audio quality, while aged, still makes this sound majestic and unique in its own right beyond what renditions can add. The soft melodies with the sharp "scratches" is something that seems to be removed in most remixes, yet it adds a charm to the theme. And the last bit of the loop: there's just something almost perfect about its implementation that truly frames the fight. This is the final fight of this Pokemon game, and this theme is so good at capturing that, even beyond what others have done (imo).
Dialga = first Pokémon to have a Primal Form. Nintendo: " Groudon & Kyogre are the first Pokémon to have Primal Forms and as of yet the only Pokémon with Primal Forms!" Then explain what we fought in MD2 as the Final Boss?
stevieFFmaster It isnt a primal pokemon. It is corrupted by the madness and was driven insane because of the stopping of time(I have no idea, what they called it in english). Complete different circumstances.
lookslikedekulink Still has Primal in its Name (unless you're playing the Japanese version which im not) so therefor its a Primal Pokémon. I know why he went Primal and I know that in the Japanese version he's called Dark Dialga but end of the day Dialga was the first Primal Pokémon.
This music reminds me that i am in clouds or in high place like moutains and i am sitting and watching the beautiful view from above while this music is running
Mystery dungeon games are such hidden gems, I remember playing this at 11yo, then I replayed it at 17 and I swear I didn't remember anything of the game, I'm very glad I had to experience this masterpiece two times ❤
Risk Mcrisky He isnt bleeding. Thats how Primal Dialga looks like and if you mean by how Chikorita used cut, thats red sparks. Don't you know that Dialga is a steel type?
True, but I never got to play it. I'm planning on getting Gates to Infinity, though... Also, DON'T take this the wrong way, but... I think we have a CERTAIN SOMETHING in common.
Blazing Sun once you get the chance, you need to play time, darkness, or sky, nothing against red and blue, but these games are just so incredible, so much better than gates to infinity.
I remember that when I was very young, I told my parents to buy me a pokemon game. They did it but I wanted the classic pokemon gamewith the gyms, wild pokemons and the pokemon league but instead of that, I received Explorers of sky.One year later, I decided to play this game and I fell in love with all the characters, I love Grovyle, his sacrifice and the epic fight with primal Dialga is one of the things that I will never forget during my entire life, especially that moment when "roar of time" killed my partner and me HAHAHAHHAAH. Today I am estudying and next week I will have a very important exam and I feel the same things that I felt when I was about to save the world during the game. I love this theme, love you guys
Im 15 years old i Played is as i was 9 years , i will never forget that Game too , Grovyle sacrafice is sad but so Epic . This Storyline is so nice . To find out Darkrai is the Mastermind behind all.
Your parents made a good decision they bought the best game that ever existed sorry Mario 64 that spot doesn't go to you even though you revolutionize the 3D gaming
Man this has to be one of the best boss battles in video game history. I mean you've got this killer song, a damn ass satisfying climax, and the emotions that the character's feeling because if s/he succeeds s/he dies. I mean that's pretty damn heavy, and I just love it! This whole series is just a freaking masterpiece, long live PMD!
Indeed. Many mainstream Pokemon fans haven't played them, but I strongly recommended it to them. Amazing story, characters, gameplay, music,(OMG, the MUSIC) graphics! I don't know what keeps mainstream Pokemon gamers away from this series, but they should give it a chance, they won't regret it.
MisakaMisaka0202 Well it's partially because of the morons at IGN. They normally give the games an 8/10 or even an 8.5/10, but they gave this game 6 and said it's a just boring and tedious. In my opinion this slams the original up and down the curb!
This song is the definition of resolve. You fought so long for this moment to save the future at all costs. Now it is time to get over the final barrier.
Heh... Sorry for the late reply, my cellphone never told me you had replied~ and yeah you may take mine if you like ^~^ Still surprised how outta all the PMD icons we had Vulpix lol...
Resolve but also sadness. You know you're going to die in the temporal tower no matter what the outcome of this battle. Yet it's still something you have to do. Fighting against an impossible foe while throwing absolutely EVERYTHING you have at it. A final desperate struggle.
*From the dark* *And lonely future* *We came to this world* *To restore...* *The sunrise we behold...* * Pokemon shout * 0:45 Lost in the midst of the storm I awoke in a shore Zero memories left I screamed: This is not my skin! Not a human anymore How is possible this?! Questions still roamed my head Although I was to determined to help The unknown in front of me That's how it started The training began The treasure owner smiled... After so many adventours... We met the mysterious grass-type... Crossed the sea of time Went through the Hidden Land Now I know My true purpose in life...! _"That's right!"_ That's why we're facing the ruler of time! Before my life ends I only want to shine! The roar of the titan ended as he fainted And then I knew... That I... Had to say goodbye... (Goodbye...)
My own song: Verse one: I arrived in this world as a riolu... I had no memories left... And then I found me a partner... (That's true!) He showed me a treasure and I knew... What to do...! Chorus: So I went on to the guild! And I knew my memory would build! I had to steel myself... For the fight at hand! I fought a Drowzee... A criminal known all too well! Then Groudon... But he fell as well! Verse two: My popularity was building... I thought I knew what was ahead... Then I found the café... (And without me knowing!) I found a new enemy... Who made away with me... To a future I didn't know! Chorus 2: So I battled and got away! To live again another day! And then I knew my objective... To beat the ruler of tiiiiiiiiiime! Verse final: So I beat the fossil pokémon... And met someone he knew! I knew my time was almost done... But I still had one job not dooooone! So I found the rainbow stoneship! And made my way there! And I knew my biggest fight... Was in the light... Chorus final: So I fought the ruler of time So I could stop paralysis worldwide! I beat him in one Focus Punch! And we stopped it in the nick of time! And... I knew... I had to say goodbye...
For this song being so hype and a real final battle theme it somehow makes me teary eyed as well. It's oddly sad almost as if representing how the hero knows he'll fade away after the fight but knowing that just because he fades means he shouldn't give up on the future of all the friends he made in treasure town
when the whole world is burning down when those who look down on us fall to earth when the expanse of time and space crumbles I will watch, and I will laugh at it all
"Past, Present, and especially future are on the line. The battle for the sake of time is upon you. Are you ready to shine the sunlight on this darkened future?" - Some Roleplaying guy of PMD2
VaperWave Foxxo hopefully, Gamefreak seems to release remake games with each new Nintendo system the main games are on. FR/LG- GBA HG/SS- DS OR/AS- 3DS D/P remakes - Switch (most likely)
Man i remember playing this after a good 5 tries i beat him and i legit started crying on the way down to the levitating stone thing. The feels man. It hurts.
I was like, what, 8-10 years old, so when I got to the point after the fight I legit started crying like crazy and ran to my older brother and he didn't understand a word I was saying. and then my mother came up to us and thought my brother hurt me. I felt like my dog just died
I've never played a Mystery Dungeon game, but this theme is legendary and I'm always returning to this specific video from so long ago. The music is enough to make you realize this is a very special game.
I love Explorers of Time! it had the best storyline ever T^T and it felt especially good when I finished it in the mountains while watching the beautiful sunset during my yellowstone road trip. the adventure was real and BOY did i cry
I just happened to find my 3DS a few days ago, I remember playing this game and progressing through it as a little kid. I'm twenty two now and the emotions that hit me when I opened this game up again after so many years is indescribable, like rocks in your chest. A certain feeling of warmth and weight, like grief and a happy memory rolled together into one. I used to hide under my covers exploring with Treeko, trying to set our world right. Now I live alone and drink a glass of rum after a ten hour night shift. I'm not sure where the time went, but it was gone long before I even knew I had it, I miss those days. I still have the game. I still play it, but that unique, special feeling only a child experiencing such a thing could have is still a memory.
Im 15 and that Game Bring so much Memories , the Spirit of These Game . Its awesome , i Love IT These Memories . Even If i die i ll never forget that Game
CGOmaster ramdon no lo siguiente I remember having a hell lot of trouble beating Palkia, but I never was defeated by Darkrai. Dialga was hard at first, but now I beat him at level 37 without any troubles. The dungeon is hard to go through though.
CGOmaster gameplays ramdoms Darkrai was only difficult cause he has his gang jump you while Cresselia eating your revive seeds doing nothing productive.
@@loupblanc7944 in your defense he has the primal design like kyogre and Groudon in oras. Also are primal kyogre and Groudon called dark instead of primal too? Just wondering.
Rip Grovyle. As the story progresses, the player and their partner learn more about Grovyle's past and motivations for wanting to change the future. Ultimately, Grovyle sacrifices himself to allow the player and their partner to complete their mission, demonstrating his loyalty and bravery as a true hero. The player and their partner reach the top of Temporal Tower for this moment. A long and difficult fight made possible by the help of a friend from the future, who traveled back in time to prevent the collapse of time and destruction of the world.
i remember i got a chimchar as the main character and piplup, which apparently was the canon duo, made me happy. This game overall had such a nice story, its nice to play a Pokemon game thats not about a 10 year old kid every once in a while. Mystery Dungeons explorers of time and black & white are prolly the best pokemon games in my opinion
Looking back, I remember hiding away from my parents between my blankets at night trying to defeat Darkrai and his ambush, always ending up in failure (because I had no idea how gummies worked), and even after defeating him i went after every bit of extra stuff i could manage. Truly a game that makes you want more, not only because of it's music and gameplay (both equally fun) but also because of it's story. Such attachment did I get to the characters that I hyped for bidoof to become a great adventurer, I wished to be as famous and strong as wigglytuff, I wished for Grovile to be real so I could hug him, and of course, I cried with my buddy when he saw me go. I'll never forget this game and the emotions it displayed, for this might be one of the things that shaped me into the person that I am now.
Would be cool, but not entirely necessary. I daresay this is the best PMD Game in existance plot wise...what I'd like to see is a sequel if anything, maybe something about grovyle's backstory where you play in his footsteps.
i would love this i would also like to find out who we were before we were before we turned into a Pokemon i think we may have been brendan/may since grovyle was our Pokemon and in oras groudon and kyogre are getting *primal* forms...remind you of anyone cough primal dialga cough
Justan Azelf I said "DS" which corresponds to the Nintendo DS and the DS lite. I don't know why you had to respond when I was obviously nodding towards the DS games, and not the 3ds. ;I
While I was near the ending of spirit tracks, phantom train and all, someone decides to steal the game from me. I never beat the game when I was so close, lol.
This theme has lived rent free in my head since playing PMD: EoD in 2008, and that's definitely not a bad thing. It's one of the very few Pokemon soundtracks I've never forgotten about, and often come back to listen to often.
