I’m sick and tired of people in high places claiming they take “full responsibility” when they know they will face no action as a result of that statement! It’s about time they started to actually face the consequences of taking full responsibility!!

At a work event an employee is held to account for any illegal action or rule breaking, as it could bring the company into disrepute. (Bit late for the Government of the day). For once he apologized - this has to be a first. All he can say is wait for the enquiry and then go on about the vaccine. He is trying to get out of it by saying it was a business meeting which spilled out into the garden. As was pointed out, his advisor - a woman - resigned after laughing about a party. He, the PM and the one in charge, is still in office. This was an excellent point.

I don't know why people give him so much grief for "not holding the government to account". An absolute disgrace,; everyone knows some people tragically did not see loved ones before they died because of their rules. Rules which obviously they didn't take seriously themselves for one moment.

The PM only has their power at the decision of whichever party has a majority in Parliament and that's it. Why hasn't anybody asked MPs in interviews what they think about changing the law to allow recall elections for party leaders?
