You should teach professors how to teach! I sat through a 4 hour lecture on this topic and came out more confused! I listened to your video and it totally made sense! Thank you for what you do! You are truly a life saver and are helping me get through nursing school!
First of all, I just want to say how thankful I am for these videos. I recommend your videos to all my friends who are in nursing school and to those who are about to take their NCLEX . While i was studying for my exam, I would always watch your NCLEX playlist as my review and would play it in the background while doing chores. Ive recently taken the exam and passed it!! Your acid base videos and the mnemonics associated with them were so amazing. I will always remember "acidotic" "alkali" "depress" and "tachypnea" and your tic tac toe method. Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart. You helped me pass NCLEX.
Congratulations on passing NCLEX, Jamie! THANK YOU very, very much for coming back to let me know my videos helped you prepare for NCLEX...that is so awesome! I'm so happy you liked my mnemonics....they definitely make learning easier and more interesting. I wish you the best in your nursing career as a nurse, and again thank you very much for taking the time to watch my videos. Congrats to you :) I hope you have a Merry Christmas!
Wooow, am from Kenya and i had to come back and comment how greatly your lectures have helped me as a student and future registered nurse. Its brief and simple to grasp. Thanks to you. Blessings to you
I am an international educated nurse and was graduated long before. Moreover, I had to challenge the nursing exam. Apart from lots of books, which I studied, I have to admit that your videos helped a lot to understand every thing better. Finally I had a very good test result. Profuse thanks for your wonderful videos.

Oh my god thank you! Your videos are amazing. Everything is beautifully explained and your notes are clean and neat. Thank you so so much. You have helped my learning a lot I don't know what I would have done without your videos honestly. I pay my university heaps of money but their quality of education is nothing compared to yours. Thank U!
Your videos are so good!!! I was struggling on the physio for DAYS and no natter how my professor broke it down for me, it just wasn't clicking in my brain. I watched this video and now have immediate godlike power 👊 Thank you!!!
I had a Spontaneous Pneumothorax. I'm not sure if it was primary or secondary as I'm a 5ft1 45 yr old female smoker for 20 yrs. I couldn't breathe fora week, my boss at work pushed me to go to ER by ambulance and after a chest X-ray was told I needed a chest tube immediately. Couldn't believe it! Ended up in the hospital for 14 days and on the 8th day, had VATS Pleurodesis. Never smoking or vaping again. But I'm afraid to exercise, run, use a trampoline, travel you name it. I read that there's a 50% chance of it happening again. Dear God.
Thank you so much for all you do, you literally taught me through out my nursing program. I attend lectures but i always looked forward to your teaching. God bless you
I am graduating nursing school in May and I just want to let you know I would be lost without your videos!! The way you explain thing is great. You have helped me so much....thank you!!
Thank you very much for this video! As someone who has recently experienced a spontaneous pneumothorax this lecture has been a huge help in understanding exactly what happened that day. The local hospital system here in northern Colorado really needs to make your series mandatory for all of their ER nurses. I was lucky that >one< of the nurses knew what she was looking at. None of the other personnel had any idea. You're doing a wonderful service with this series. Thanks again!
Thank you so much . I was struggling to understand Pathophysiology of Pneumothorax for 2 days and your lecture made me understand in 18 minutes. Thank you so much for this informative video
I REALLY LOVE LOVE your videos!!! I always learn so much!!! Thank you so much for doing this lecture in such an easy to understand way! Wish the nursing instructors teach in the way you do! Thanks again!
Please, please, please continue doing what you do. I love your lectures, it’s very professional, informative and I’ve learned a lot. It’s very easy to understand and follow.. Thank you🙏🏽

Let me firstly say thank you for these amazing lectures. I'm a foreign trained RN preparing to write my NCLEX. I had spontaneous pneumothorax 4 times in 2012 and had it corrected. I still have intermittent stabbing pain in my right anterior chest up to today. I'd like to know if that's normal.
Thank you so much for your videos. I am learning the basic level of becoming an EMT and you really are helping me along so much and allowing me to understand at a much greater level. Really owe alot to you and your very informative videos. Really are motivating me to want to continue past EMT!
Hello dear Doctor Thank you so much for your intersting lessons,i do appreciate your job.I wish you peace and happiness under the sky of prosperity. Take care and have a good time. All the best. Your Student from Algeria.
You are a gift sent from heaven to me. Helping grasp understanding of my med surge rotation. What i read in text book go in one ear and out theeee other and the instructors go so fast in their lecture. Please dont let up. How can i make a donation ?
Thank you so much for watching the videos. I'm so glad they've helped you :) I appreciate the offer for a donation, but I prefer that you just tell as many people as you can about our free RU-vid channel to help them through nursing school. Thank you again for watching the videos :)
Great Videos, really helpful for studying. The way you go through things is so straightforward and easy to follow, helps clear things up I don't get in lectures first time around. The drawings behind also make it very easy to link everything together x
Hands down my favorite comment of the day! It made me laugh :) What would us women do without those makeup videos..there are some amazing tips out there! Thank you for always watching my videos and for your awesome comments ;-)
I’m 24 years old and have had 5 spontaneous pneumothorax over the course of 7-8 years. 7 chest tubes placed, 4 minor 3 major and have had a pluerodesis done. My most recent was the 4th of May this year. Nobody can tell me why this keeps happening to me so I guess I’m just gonna be dealing with this for the rest of my life. Can’t explain how fed up I am with this.
Im actually sitting in a hospital bed as im writing this, Ive got pheumothorax. Been here for about a week. I know my doctors are tired of me asking questions so i figured id youtube it lol

I just went into hospital on the 1st of August 2023 because I had a Spontaneous phemothorax. Had the drain fall out on the 3rd day. So they just sent me home. Said I still have fluid in there. But I need to go back for a scan on Monday 14th august
Hi Hi I am RN and your videos are really cool. just one question, I have looked after couple of patients with pneumothorax and when I check their chest xrays, it really gets me confused whether its the heart in white part or actually shrinking of the lungs. is there any way to better read the xrays?
