Was a blatant shoulder charge & they didn't even look at it. If its not a try, it was a definite shoulder charge and therefore a penalty try!
100% not a regular try... but a penalty try surely? Only stops him with a shoulder charge the technically it's a try all day long, and a shoulder charge to go with it, more awful officiating from English refs.

The professionalism and expertise of the TMO must give cause for concern. At no stage of his review do you feel that he is wholly appreciative of the incident as it unfolds. The interception tackle is an illegal shoulder charge that should be brought to the attention of the referee. Having bounced off the post the rugby ball, as is evident from the head-on angle, remains under the control of the player and in play. Why is there no zoom facility? Why isn't the official in a position to manipulate the images independent of the tv technician?

With all due respect, given the hype and build up the whole rugby league media gave to Tonga leading into the world cup, the Kumuls would have had to score tries that were to the letter of the law in order to beat Tonga. Tonga scored of a forward pass for their first try, had a clear knock on in the build up to the last try and denied two possible Kumuls tries (one using the foot to disturb the attempted grounding for Ipape in the 1st half and the illegal use of shoulder charge in the video shown). Anyways, all good RLWC, can't change what has already happened so we move on. PNG Kumuls mipla stap

If only they played at Aussie we'd get a better feedback from the video ref. The quality of camera used in wicked stadium was indeed weakened in lenses providing misleading judgment.

Rodrick Tai need a good side step skill to get that try otherwise it's a try. Video ref too poor indeed.

It's plain WCRL politics n 'BS' to keep Tonga in game for huge fans gate takings and money making. Very sad for merit based Rugby League these days.

The refs call was unacceptable. Clearly as this video demonstrates this was a try no doubt.

Personally I dont think the MMT would survive this time if they come across Australia, New Zealand or England, they failed that night even though they won, they still failed miserably
