YUP! You have to love modern-day droppers. Reliable and easy to service, to boot. Just make sure to keep up with the 50 hour or so service to make sure you have fresh grease in there, and she will treat you well for a long time 👍
AWESOME job myman! 🦾👏👏Always makes me Super happy to hear when someone tackles these jobs. Now if only we can get some of my buds around me to do the same instead of drop stuff off to get fixed. 😁 Thanks for updated me! 👍
Hey man! I'll be in MI in late June for an MTB trip. I'm buying beers if you happen to be in the area! It's the least I can do for all the great videos!
Might be possible. My issue is I'm going to be traveling to Houston, then to Vegas for a big chunk of June (had to cancel a dive trip because of it 😡). NOT a fan of traveling for work during bike season, and so far this year I've traveled more than I have in the past five . The worst part is I'll only be able to ride a day or two in Vegas, which is an oven by mid-June and a blast furnace by the end of it. Which part of MI are you visiting
@@Abihomeservices Now your making me jealous, and people who know me know that's next to impossible! 😉 I'm in SE MI. The drive up there is 6 - 11 hours. depending on location. Not impossible but would need to be planned. The bigger issue is I will be traveling in an out for most of the month (sucks 😞)
Dumb question: It appears that you did not release the air from the tube or did I miss that part? I could not get the actuator unscrewed, any other tips?
Apologies for the delay in responding. For sealed cartridge posts (post that don't support IFP service), you don't need to remove the air form the cartridge. Servicing these type of posts only involves cleaning and applying fresh grease to the post, as seen in this video. The cartridge can't be serviced. if a cartridge goes bad yo would be a new from om PNW in this case. as for the actuator, it shouldn't take much to unscrew. it's quite possible that the threads might be crossed, if this is the case, it would need to be tapped
