Step back in time to the days of the Native American Pocahontas and experience her incredible journey of friendship and courage! With stunning visuals, fun activities, and interactive storytelling, this game is a fantastic way for children to learn important values while having fun.
About this game:
Pocahontas: Animated StoryBook is a 1995 Disney Interactive storybook offering young readers a chance to improve their reading comprehension, vocabulary, and problem-solving skills. Players can participate in activities, sing-alongs, and learn how to use a dictionary.
Follow the story of Disney's Pocahontas through the Pocahontas Animated StoryBook. Pocahontas, along with her friends Flit the hummingbird and Meeko the Raccoon help avert a war between the settlers and the Native American Indians. Pocahontas befriends the explorer John Smith and teaches him the great love her people have for the land.
But the settlers are afraid of the Indians, and soon, both sides have nearly come to blows. Pocahontas' great courage in shielding John Smith from execution by her father and then John Smith's throwing himself in front of the bullet meant for Powhatan, contrive to bring a sort of peace between the settlers and the Native Americans that lasts for many years.
The story is narrated by Grandmother Willow and includes four games players can play, either as part of the story, or separately.

I was obsessed with this when I was a little girl. I was 5 or 6, had just about any Pocahontas merch I could get my hands on. Backpack, multicolored pen, etc. I loved this game!

This is quite a show of nostalgia for Disney fans everywhere. 👍🏼if you think that the Disney Version of Pocahontas is a great idea for Indigenous People's Day which occurs annually in October as long as your audience doesn't do any mean things at all.

Normally, when you click on Percy in the "Find Meeko" game, he would let out growls. But if you're lucky to click on Percy, Meeko would appear in the barrel underneath Percy.

If you're lucky to click on the pile of cannonballs during the "Find Meeko" game, you'll see Meeko drop a cannonball causing it to roll down the deck and hit someone off-screen letting out a groan, causing Meeko to shrug and place another cannonball ball on top of a pile.

On Page 5, you can only click on Meeko after you click on John Smith. Smith shows a handshake. Then when you click on Meeko, he would try a handshake on Flit, shaking Flit in the process, causing Flit to hit Meeko in the nose.

The second page's original text was "Pocahontas always talked with me when she needed advice about her path in life. Her friends Meeko and Flit liked to come along when she visited me." That was shown in promos of Disney Animated Storybook series.

Used to play this along with my brother when we were younger. In the "Find Meeko" mini game I remember clicking on an object and sometimes Wiggins would appear and sing "Hey nani nani Ho nani nani he isn't here hey nani nani." My brother used to use that phrase and it could get annoying at times. Thought i saw that scene where Wiggins would appear and sing that phrase on RU-vid somewhere and i cant find it. Has anybody seen it.

maybe someone will see this message when I'm 50 generally one moment from the game has been deposited in my memory, my brain keeps telling me that it was Pocahontas, but nowhere I can find at least something remotely resembling this this audio story was my last chance what is the point as I recall, there was something like an egg that read some kind of story, and it was necessary to fill in the gaps in the story with the words suggested. as a child, it seemed to me an insanely difficult task and I could not get through it in any way. and this has haunted me for many years. I can’t find at least something similar anywhere in this game. if someone understands what I'm talking about, then please write at least your suggestions !! I'm losing my mind! Thank you!! and for that matter maybe RU-vid is my last chance there was once a children's educational game on a computer, on a disc with some kind of blue gin, sort of like there was something like eo toolbox (toolkit) in the name if someone has at least some suggestions, please write and like the comment to hang higher Amen!
