I lost all in pre flop twice last night , the first time with kk and the second time with AA playing 1-3 NL. It sucked, I was up just before that too. I did everything right, im taking a break for a bit on poker 😢!

Tampa Hard Rock is my favorite poker room. Always find good action there. Lol not really when you land a table full of the regular nits. But all in all. I win good here

it's definitely close but when checked to in position with the 77 hand I am value betting the river and folding to a check raise..I liked the way you played the AA hand OOP...his river bet sizing there seems more like a middling hand than value with a strong hand...with a strong hand there most 2/5 players are potting it...JMO

I was just there week ago during the 3k per hour high hands. Parked in the Lucky Garage which was Unlucky as It was in the wrong side of casino which makes for a Long Stroll. But was Interesting seeing the whole Casino lol . Did win 1k with Quad A’s Though 🎉😊

Idk what it is about the tampa hard rock but its really hard to win there for me. Side note, next time youre in the tampa bay area you should check out derby lane. The 2/5 tables can be really good. The regulars there like to gamble

@@dustinbradley9437 yeah I've played down there a few times it's pretty chill. I live in St Pete so I don't really wanna drive that far to play when I have derby lane but I'd recommend it for sure

I played there this summer and it was one of the best locations for me. I was sun running for sure haha, planned on just playing one day while on vacation down there, ended up spending the whole week inside the poker room. 😂 Made a couple grand at 1/2. Booked one win for almost 1200 profit.. albeit I was in there for 15-16 hours that day 😂

I don’t think you played too passive on those hands. 77 is always a check in my opinion getting raised there would be terrible and KK might call that sometimes but only because his hand is so underplayed. Think it was good AA probably doesn’t get 3 streets of value vs 99 when Q hits flop but I probably would have c bet that board. Played it well tho booked a nice session there

Play styles. Hands down. You'll see some shit at 1/3 you'll never see anywhere else. Example, I saw a guy who had AA yesterday at 1/3. One guy raises to 15, a guy calls, and he's on the Button with Aces. He just calls 15 lol. That's something you'll never see at 2/5. And he's not calling to slow play and trap. He's calling to minimize the pot size because he doesn't want to put all his chips in without the nuts. Then, other days ,you'll see wild things like guys calling Jams with nothing. I saw a guy call 260$ all in with literally just a gut shot last week lmao. Pot wasn't huge too. It was like a 290$ pot when dude jammed. K 10 9 5 he called with AQ lmao.

@@JTmakesfunofdiabled-hs9kh lol...very true! $1/3 is a crap. Two thirds of the table has short starting stack. Then their stack goes rapidly down by calling with crap hands...then, never rebuy till were stacked out. Pocket AA on btn calls 5 way limp pre A player limp/calls a 3-bet pre with 62o!! (flopped two pairs? and takes a huge pot).

Your plays made sense here. See the edge cases you were talking about, but I think your decisions overall were sound. You are not a player I would target.
