First off, Happy 250th Vlog! I've noticed that's been a thing lately--poker conditions really have deteriorated since 2020. The action en masse from the early days of the Poker Boom is just not there anymore and hell--even the -EV gambling in Vegas isn't what it used to be (unless you go to off-Strip gems like South Point). With poker becoming less and less of a thing in Vegas, we'd either need a Second Poker Boom of sorts (and that's a very tall order) or--most likely--other cities will overtake Vegas as the place to be for poker.

Agree the games at 2/5 and above are terrible now in LV. You can’t play ABC and expect to profit anymore. 1/3 is still good though.

I certainly would have deferred. And I certainly would have run the ball on third down planning to go for it on fourth down in OT. No way I am throwing an incomplete pass and just planning on kicking a FG with Mahomes having a chance for a walk off TD.

@@BenDeach his reasoning was to get the ball 3rd of it was tied after each possession but Andy said publicly that every analytics team in the league would recommend going for 2 if you score 2nd because you have a better chance of getting 2 rather than holding your opponent to not get just a fg. I honestly think Kyle didn't know the rules. He said afterwards and this is a quote, "we wanted the ball to go down and score a TD and keep the ball out of Pat's hands." But that makes no sense because he was getting it regardless, that coupled with a few players publicly saying they didn't know the rules either, I just think it was a huge lack of attention to detail. A lesser coach would get fired for not knowing that. Plus when you get the ball 2nd then you are guaranteeing yourself all four downs. Case in point is the first series for KC when Valdez Scantling caught that pass then basically went backwards for 10 yards it made it 2nd and 14. Well Mahomes now I ows he has three plays to get the first as opposed to if he's in that scenario he only gets two plays to get it because he would have to punt on 4th. Giving Mahomes an extra play every new set of downs is HUGE.

It was exciting because the NFL insisted that the chiefs win .... The examples of holding not being called were egregious ... Several other terrible non calls.... I saw the Chiefs in 3 superbowls now have 0 Holding penalties and their opposition had 13 . Dont get me wrong my money was all in on the chiefs and i won 7 grand so i'm happy with betting on chiefs but as a fan of football its gotten pretty bad. @@zourah2

Staying in the same hotel as the game you're playing in is something I avoid. Between knowing that there is a poker room and a Chinese noodle shop downstairs cost me hours of sleep when I stayed at Foxwoods. The solution was to stay a few minutes away at the Two Trees Inn, also Foxwoods property but detached.

Why do teams attempt to return punts, just fair catch the ball and have no teammates anywhere near you to have the ball bounce off of them. There are many more mistakes that cause teams to lose the ball than score TD's
