Yea your totally right but I can tell already the engine won't be powerful enough or actually high quality enough to make it legit... I need to finally get rid of this engine though so its staying, In the next episode Ill talk explain more.

Really cool build. I would consider putting a chain guard on it, and having a solid axle so both back tires are powered.

Don’t need a solid axle to drift a drift trike. The engine is probably for gaining speed, then drift. But if you want to do power drifting. Then solid axle is the way 2 go

An axle would be better for drifting. Similar to how an LSD or welded diff is used.

It looks very fun and its about a perfect size, the rear brake is definitely going to be a good help with drifting too. The drift trike turned out awesome man, it looks cool and it sounds good too! I love all of your builds

Like the other guy said, definitely go solid-axle, it is pretty cool what you built though, But put the chain tensioner on the bottom, because there won't be much stress on the tensioner, when you put the tensioner on top like you have it the chain wants to be pulled by the front sprocket making it tight! Definitely always put the tensioner on the bottom

Yeah, this build looks tricky. It doesn’t look stable because the rear wheels are too close together. You should try making it into an axle setup. Also maybe a lower gearing setup will help you drift. However, it looks pretty cool!

Should have left the front pedals legs would have more space and you could pedal home if your engine fails or runs out of gas . Great video keep it up .👍

Try to have a axle that goes all the way through. You basically have a limited slip differential or a one wheel peeler machine. Once you get that your set! Maybe a wider axle too so it’s more stable. Good job wish I could do something like this 🤟🏾

love the design man! you would be able to pull a better drift if both back wheels are spinning i suggest possibly finding a longer bolt that stretches the whole base of the back so that they both spin and when you install the break both tires stop

👍👍 great build Bro. I’d go with a wider rear axle posi traction for better control in the middle of your drift an drift tires otherwise you’re gonna go through a lot of clutch’s. Keep building Brothers

An axle for the rear wheels, a lower gearing so it accelerates faster but looses topspeed(the tires need to spin by engine power) and a better mount for the front sprocket, some teflon tape and 2 nuts isn't gonna hold the sprocket under heavy acceleration. Other than that it is a nice build, even without a welder.

Ladies and gentleman always wear safety gear when using a highspeed hand grinder. It's ll fun and sparky till the wheel breaks and goes fling into your face 3inches deep ant mach speed. There are some gnarly RU-vid videos out there .

The engine sprocket looks like it has very few teeth compared to the wheel. How does it drive? Is it underpowered? Could you set it up for posse rear axle with a long piece of all-thread rod? Then you could yank your e brake and lock both rear tires for a drift. This is a very cool build. It's super cool that you bought a bunch of different stuff and built this drift trike out of the parts. Keep up the good work dude.

The engine definitely isn't strong enough or powerful enough, I changed up the chain and sprockets so Im waiting to test that still but it will most likely be sold as a fun little motorized kids trike rather than labeling it a full on drift trike. Another episode is coming though

@@jaguars004 I've got the opposite problem with my Silverado. Too much power and not enough gear! Lol. I installed a 4L80e recently. Still working on finishing up some small details, but it's going to be awesome with overdrive and a lockup torque converter. At least 30% drop in rpms with the converter locked in 4th gear. The first 3 gears are the same as my turbo 400, but now my converter has a 2000 rpm stall compared to ~1300 stall stock. I broke my main electrical plug when bolting up the trans mount on the crossmember. The transfer case shifter linkage squished it! After I filled it with ATF. I need to drain the fluid and pull the pan to replace the internal transmission wiring harness. I've been working 10-12 hour days and taking care of my kiddos at night so I only get weekends to work on it. . . Unless I have to work Saturdays too.

It looks like the close wheel base would prove to be difficult in the cornering. I'm used to seeing drift trikes with the rear wheels set much further apart for stability

You need wider rear axle and both wheel hooked together, chain tensioner needs to be on the bottom of the chain. Other than that it is good so far. Js without the rear axle connecting the rear tires you don't have a drifter you have a slider. As for the plastic rear tires once you burn through them they will be gone so air rubber tires are best because it is easier and cheaper to use pvc pipe.

you should try putting a long enough bolt in the middle with treads either end to go in the middle, and 2 more bolts either side to lock it so you have 1 solid axel

You need to make a solid axel!!!!!!!!! I literally cannot stress this enough 99% of the problems is going to be from not having the axles connected!!!! This should be your next step bro dont worry about anything else except a solid rear axel I promise you it will make such a more fun machine with that one modification.
