Pocket Queens are usually easy to play when the river is a brick: just keep betting. But what about when the river is an overcard? What about when the river is a King, and you can either check behind or bet again? Which play is higher EV?
In this video, we do some intermediate-level analysis comparing QQ on two different rivers. First, we explore exactly how often our opponent has hands that beat us. Then, we look at the check vs. bet analysis to see which play offers a higher EV. Finally, pay special attention to how things change as the inclusion of second-best hands gets added into their range.
Also note that villain's range is directly out of the GTO+ #poker solver. Against more exploitative ranges, our bet can be even more lucrative!
