First of all sorry if the constant rotation makes you dizzy but I couldn't do it any other way.
So today was my birthday so I did something a bit easier. This pocket watch was a birthday gift I bought myself some years ago. I have two and a compass and they are just gorgeous.
I don't think I did them justice. I still haven't really gotten the hang of crosshatching with a lot of contrast. It just looks messy to me and then I end up leaving the lines too light.
And it's soooo hard to do the smooth curved lines in longer strokes.
