I prefer GT's take on camera module, with matte surface and headphone jack.. that IR blaster is just awesome, since having multiple remote controls- sometimes they go missing is convenient ☺️
Tbh the F4 is for me cause of the design I like the glass panel so much and the cooling is not that too much difference and the quality of picture is much better on the f4
I like this smartphone by Poco. The features such as 5000 mAh battery with 67 Watt charger, Mediatek Dimensity 8100 chip, 64-mp camera, etc. are capable.
I'm still using Mi A1 & the screen has a yellow stripe on the right side from the top to bottom. It also heats up soooo much. I think it might the time to switch to a new phone, and X4 GT looks really nice. NFC, IPC, stereo, good processor, pretty cheap. I like that.
@@gehtdinichtsan309 that doesn't even make sense. So what you saying or "joking" is that the phone is heavily damaged even a brick phone (or a literal potato) is an upgrade? Like maybe am I missing some references you projecting for that specific damage that I don't hear about? Where's the funny?
I quite like the Poco X4 GT especially since it comes with the incredible Dimensity 8100 which can support both 5G connectivity and mobile gaming. Perfect for an all-around usage.
@@No-fq7rm all F series focus more on design all of the f series has amoled display with great display phone Then for X series all of screen was ips only but the chipset was good it is focus more on performance
In Singapore, (6GB RAM + 128GB storage) is SGD$549 and (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) SGD$599 for F4. And (8GB RAM + 128GB storage) is SGD$479 and (8GB RAM + 256GB storage) is $509.
I think Poco's main focus for an F4 was reducing/stabilizing manufacturing costs over the F3. Hence, same 870 chipset and AMOLED display, but a plastic back panel, and cheap 2mp macro. Rather underwhelming.
At first I'm having a hard time comparing those two, but as soon as I put some specs as the main priority, I choose the X4 GT cause it still retain the 3.5mm jack, having a dongle just not practical for me who enjoy long time calling. the screen is LCD compared to the Amoled on the F4 but the LCD screen still perform better than my previous phone.
@@psylina as someone who's tested both phones (I have the X4 GT and my cousin has the F4) I can tell you that the difference in display is very very minimal especially in color contrast, though the blacks in an lcd panel will never be true blacks like that in amoled, I don't think it's enough to be a deal breaker.
I don't know quite why, but I'm a little disappointed with the F4, I was hoping it would be a little better. Not enough change from the F3 (which I think is a much nicer looking phone).
Because f3 has no need improvement that's why they can't put anything to add on F4, if they put the dm8100 on f4 no one would be x4 gt, Sd870 is more than enough that's why they retained
im planning to buy the x4 gt but im worried about its display like i used a old samsung super amoled for 5 years planning to upgrade but like is it really gonna make that big of a difference
I just saw your comment, i got the phone 1 Month ago and i can definitely tell you the screen is not the regular LCD you find on most phones, it has excellent viewing angles , deep colors and the support for HDR makes things even better and the 144hz is just great , for me it's bright enough for outdoor usage
Wait!...i thought supersaf was from the UK...that is to say he traveled all the way from UK to USA to make a awesome video we never knew we needed...Nice one saf, Great review Chap! The F4 is a better device because of the Qualcomm chip.
I am texting you right now through poco f4... And while texting due to it's glass back hand prints are on the back of the cover... Although back cover should be used cause it's back made of glass can get smashed anytime☠️☠️
@@psylina Benchmarks and user experiences made me get the X4 GT since its more powerful in CPU. Finally got the X4 GT. F4 is better in display and camera while Dimensity 8100 is better than SD 870. Thank you for the comment.
@@mohammadsaati8325 Ever so slightly since sd870 is already much more than you need for gaming. Let's not forget that snapdragon is much more optimized than dimensity for most games
@@mohammadsaati8325 Also.. x4 gt has 270 hz sampling rate compared to f4's 360 hz. In a fast paced and optimized game like codm, the f4 would do so much better and be more competitive.
The improvement is in OIS in the main camera, then it supports 4k60fps video recording now, also it supports faster charging now 67W as opposed to 33W they used to give earlier. So, yes, it's still an improvement.
It should be the same lcd panel in the Mi10t Pro of one of my friend and I can guarantee you, it is an amazing display in terms of colors and vividness, of course it cannot get bright as an amoled but still in terms of quality is a beautiful panel. I prefer an amazing lcd panel with vivid and intense colours rather than an amoled display that could have problems with green lights
@@No-fq7rm maybe the processor is since it's an A15 bionic but it still uses an iphone 8 screen that is literally over 6 years old. It's a fucking joke no matter what excuse you apple sheep use.
Yes. OIS doesn't make videos stable though. That other reviewer probably confused OIS with EIS. EIS is needed for stable videos. The poco F3 doesn't have EIS at 4k60 so 4k 60 videos are very shaky (there is OIS but that alone will not make stable videos). There is EIS at 4k30 though so 4k30 videos should be relatively stable
The "leaked" specs indicated ip 53 on both units. I don't see any ip-classification on the x4 gt anymore. I want that x4 so badly but need some kind of water protection :/
Just because it's not officially rated, doesn't mean it can't handle some dust or light splashes. Most phones are built to handle this stuff just fine. Getting an IP rating can be really expensive, so companies sometimes don't bother getting an official rating even if they did design the phone to be splash resistant. IP ratings don't mean that much outside of resistance to submersion.
@@pitepalten in that case,it should work fine. I myself have a non IP rated phone yet whenever I took it in some rainy conditions,it still worked fine.
Hello guys.. I have a dilemma and I hope you can help me choose. In terms of main camera and selfie camera which one would you choose for a decent AND above average everyday in terms of quality, sharpness, dynamic range, low noise, low light, natural/real-life tones and video stabilization for their specs and optimisations: 1. OnePlus 9 w/ EIS (Sony IMX689) 2. Realme 9 Pro+ w/ OIS (SonyIMX766) 3. Poco F4 w/ OIS ( unknown sensor). Also, taking into account the company that is faster in updates, community support and current device optimisations. Please help. THANKS.
my only worry thing is amiled screen as of my childhood i saw rearly Samsung phones which was impressive seeing ther brigthness and colors but wonder if. my eyes can bebhurt tho because i want to try f4
