Poco F6 is generally better value unless you want a better screen and gpu. The 8s gen 3 on the F6 is roughly on par with 8 gen 2 in CPU but mainly loses due to a weaker GPU.
@@AtreusMobilecpu clock speed is kinda irrelevant in determining the better cpu, most desktop cpus will perform around 3-5ghz range and all will have wildly varying performance
@@gavril3698 Yeah. Though for most, shelling out 3-4x the money for better camera is a bit too much. I for one use my Redmi Note 12 Pro much more than the iPhone 15 Pro. Quite a big part of me regrets drinking the damn Apple kool aid.
@@gavril3698 If you want a phone that takes good pictures, go for a Pixel, iPhone, Samsung, Vivo, Oppo or Xiaomi (Mi series). Poco is a phone for people who prioritize performance over everything and get a good battery life.
Neither of these are "Camera Phones". If the camera is a main priority to you in a phone then this isn't it. They are just so far behind where actual camera phones are.
@@TechSpurthey quick question, i want to buy the poco f6 but listen to music quite often Is there a phone around poco f6 price that has earphone jack and maybe ip67? I've broken 2 phones due to dropping them under water at this point
@TechSpurt On the "F6 Pro" review you mentioned you had worse signal reception around the house, compared to other smartphones, which definitely is disappointing on the Pro. How does the normal "F6" compare in that regard? Same as the Pro? Or was it normal, compared to all the others you usually test?
Why did they remove the headphone jack on the regular F6? I just hate everyone copying Apple and pushing for wireless earphones which sound terrible and cost a lot.
@@TechSpurt Is the brightness & display really just as good (I keep an F3 as a spare & dimming was an issue I found) Am going to order the F6 if it's as good bc the Waterproofing, Stronger Gorilla glass etc matters The Cameras don't Please advise asap - tonight is the night there's a super cheaper Offer!🤭💜🙏💜🇬🇧💜
I also think of f6 I find it more gimmicky on pro just a slight difference. Also in my country they released the f6 pro than the f6 that's why I'm convinced that f6 is better a bit than f6 pro weird though no f6 but already have pre order for f6 pro guess they want to sell the pro first before releasing the f6
Same thing. I'm also still using poco f3. I'm thinking of upgrading to xiaomi 13t pro or pixel 8. The price is around the same (500eur in Eastern Europe)
If anyone is wondering, the F6 Pro (Redmi K70) was originally made to be the pro version of X6 Pro (Redmi K70E) instead of F6 (Redmi turbo 3). Hence the similarities between the F6 Pro and X6 Pro.
Just a suggestion, for gaming, you might wanna try Farlight for FPS and Wuthering Waves (almost similar to Genshin but a newer game) so you check how the phone would stand against new games.
I'm glad you mention the always on display thing. I temporarily switched from my poco F3 to an oppo find x5 and was so confused when the always on display wasn't... Always on...
No don't worry - you can go into Xiaomi Development mode (Somewhere!) & put the Standard F6 on always display I read that on a different video (Doing Research!) I have an F3 as a spare bc that's important to me & my Career ergo I need something decent but realistically not fussed re Cameras on the spare 🙏🇬🇧
@Techspurt How does the F6 compare with the X6 pro Chris? I bought the X6 pro and was worried i might have jumped the gun, but the F6 doesnt appear to be that much better?
@@praveendissanayake2509 I had some battery draining issues the first few days. However I identified it as some apps were running constantly in the background even though they were already in energy saving mode. So the solution was to limit background activity manually on these apps in my case RU-vid. So now I got from 2.5h Display on Time to 5h on average. As far as the overheating goes I didn’t notice any issues
The difference between the X6 Pro and the F6 is not that big to be honest. The F6 is obviously better, but there's not a huge leap from one to the other
@@praveendissanayake2509 For the moment, the battery life on my X6 Pro is quite normal. Battery drops 2-4% overnight, and in active use (social media, gaming, multitasking) the battery drops about 10-12% every hour. I experienced a bit of overheating situations the first week, but now it's stable
Big Poco fan over here. Watching on my Poco F3. Looking desperately for a reason to buy the Poco F6. Unfortunately my Poco F3 is still doing super fine. 😅
@@quinoxzgdzlla499 I had my poco f1 since 2020, and the battery was really bad so i had to replace it. Unfortunately i dropped it today and broke the screen, so i had to order a new phone. I bought the F6, looking forward to it.
@@Sir-General honestly it's cool ( according to my friend opinion) But the f6 is in the same price with f5 maybe 50$ more. I would recommend getting the f6
@@Sir-GeneralBeen using Poco F5 for a year now and it's been great so far. I didn't encounter any issues with it whatsoever. Performance is really good, the software is great and photos are decent. But I think the Poco X6 Pro is better, since it will have more updates and it's got a better screen at 1.5k resolution, so i suggest you get that instead, considering it's the same price as the F5 or sometimes even cheaper depending on where you live.
Id love to see you add Wuthering Waves to your gaming test as i think its a very "modern" benchmark for newer game requirements as on the correct settings most mid rangers can handle Genshin quite well
Get OnePlus 12R. It has 5500 MaH battery, SD Gen 2 and LTPO 4 tech 1.5K display. Also less bloatware on OnePlus phones. Only downside is that display is curved, which is why I am hesitant to buy it. (Scared about accidental touches and less usable screen estate)
@@jackwilson5542 best competitor i see for poco f6 is realme gt neo 6. It has ltpo and waterproof. I am waiting for either xiaomi 14t with ltpo or gt neo 6 coming officially in my country. OP 12r(official) is too much for me. Its 150% higher price than these two. Not to mention at the similar price i could've choose OP12(global set). Currently using op9. Overheating only when gaming optimized for normal usage but downside is oneplus has downgrade this phone charging speed. 80% in 40 min. Sot max 6hrs. I really need that ltpo,ip65+, pwm dimming on my next phone
@Tech Spurt, Nice intro to your video---😅! You're becoming a comedian along with content creator? Anyways keep up the good informative videos on smartphones.
Sad that even Xiaomi are starting to do away with the MicroSD card slots on some of their pricier handsets. Maybe its about time i get myself a dedicated MP3 player.
As a Poco F6 user this device was a $100 cheaper than the Pro version. Both are great devices and depends on what you need. Poco F6 more into performance but less features. While the Pro version you'll get more feature and stability
8:15 the funny part about this statement is that he really did played genshin impact for 300+ hours but only for testing purposes for every device he reviewed so yes he is still completely clueless about the game itself after all that game time
I guess if you're still saving, better wait for F7 or X7 Pro next year then buy it on release. Better yet if you can get early bird deals for cheaper price and maybe some Xiaomi freebies gadget. I also still use my 2018 F1 as main phone, it's still a very capable phone. My F6 is like a spare unit just in case bad stuff happens with the F1.
Meglio questo poco F6 pro o un realme 12 pro plus? F6 25 euro in piú.
Guys, I want to use Poco F6 for gaming, which better? between F6 or F6 Pro? "I don't mind if the features outside of gaming are bad (like the camera and so on)"
Hello please guide me. I want to buy a phone and The most important part for me is the camera, then the processor. So between s23 fe and poco f6 pro which one has better camera?
After getting x6 pro. The battery sucks, but not bad bar that. For £240 it was a soild buy, still wish i waited for the F6 pro. A x6 pro vs F6/ pro would be amazing, see how much i missed out.
I noticed something that no one paid attention to is that the f6 screen has warmer colors compared to the f6 pro and I felt that the colors of the f6 pro are more realistic.
@techspurt Please can you do a review side by side of the efffins and the exxxxs? Not sure (on paper) what's the difference between the X6 Pro and the F6 Pro? And yeah the F6 sounds like a better deal if it's going to be much cheaper
X6 uses a 64+8+2, F uses 50+8+2 but better sensor overall slight better chip (MT6897 aka D8300U) compared to last year's flagship SD8G2 and my x6 pro performance dropped a bit from when i bought it tho
Uncle Spurt! Please do a in-depth video of (?) the Poco F6!!!!! And would please share where do you get those wallpapers???? I'm losing my freaking mind
Poco launcher sucks so bad, it's what makes poco deal breaking for me, even in hyperos they're using same launcher since 2018 with same 5+ year old icons with basically no customisation features like ability to change icon packs or even use material themed icons, and you can't even switch to a third party launcher because then the gestures won't work and you'd be stuck with 3 button navigation which is even more worse, I've poco F5 and yes it has great hardware but horrible software experience, I'm planning to sell it and get moto or samsung in a few months.
feels like poco f6 and realme gt neo 6 se are the same phones except the former puts in a 8s gen 3 but cutting down with a amoled display and the former has a 7+ gen 3 with an ltpo panel
Snapdragon 8s gen 3 is a upgrade version of 8+ gen 1 It actually using the same GPU as the 8 gen 1 Obviously weaker than the 8 gen 2, and nothing near 8 gen 3, but because of the stupid naming of Qualcomm. Don't mistake of this
Apart from the camera department and chipset you get everything from the xiaomi 14 pro. The display, speaker, internal software, ai, and optimization all in poco f6 pro and poco f6 you just get the similar chipset.
For a 350€ price range would you recommend buying a new phone or going for an older flagship!? For me a Snapdragon 888+ or an 8 gen 1 should be enough for me! Do you have any recommendations!? My thanks in advance 🙏 Keep up the great job, i love seeing your reviews you always make me smile 😁
Now I'm more confused which one should I get but I narrowed down my options to Tecno camon 30 premier vs Poco f6 series. I'll rate my usage as 50/50 for camera and gaming. Help me choose 😊
The normal f6 is mighty tempting, and I might just go for that one, though I`m not sure on the color yet (tempted by the green one, because I`m tired of black and grey phones), and I`m hesitant whether to pounce on the early bird amazon price, or wait a few months to see see if by september or so the early bird price becomes the normal price... The biggest things that could push me to go for the pro are the screen and performance, but neither seem to be a big enough upgrade to be worth it, and I think the normal t6 seems like a good enough upgrade from my realme gt as is...
@@camotech1314 what currency are you talking in ? Here in europe the price for the version I`d want (12gb ram, 512gb storage) is 419€ in early bird pricing (tax included), and the price is the same on amazon and their website. Amazon can also apparantly deliver it tomorrow before 1pm. The titanium option also doesn`t seem to be available in my region (just gold, green and black), and I`m having a really hard tome deciding on the color to go for Edit: my bad, amazon calls the color gold, but poco`s site calls it titanium. I thought they were different colors, but they aren`t
@@andreanastacio9548 Oh damn I was hoping it was the more recent realme GTs but anyways if it still works then yeah you should try waiting for a few months cuz thats what happened to f5
