Hey man, LOVE the preset builder videos. They have been super helpful in learning how to do more with my PODGo. Would love to see more of these with different sounds or even creating some “song specific” patches that mimic the sounds heard in some of the recordings.

Only have my POD GO about two wks or so, and have used it at church those last 2 Sundays. Still looking to get some Clean sounds and need some Ambient Swells settings. Have been able to create a couple Stomp patches, as I seem to only really need 5 of the 6 foot switches for now. I like your Videos, plus you don't rush through them. Guess our definitions of "clean" are a bit different----haha. I like some of your "rougher-gritty" sounds, but I'd never get away with those at my church. ONE Thing I noticed on this Vid was your method of placing "two sounds on 1 switch" in Stomp Mode rather than using snapshots, which I've not bothered to use yet. Although I did purchase a few patches that have them, but typically were similar, and also LOUD! Our worship team doesn't play at the 100 db level! haha Thanks again.

Great stuff, man! Learning a lot from you. And thanks for your friendly way of sharing. One note: If you wish to go from clean to OD smoothly you can assign the changes in output level, mid tone, drive and the like to the EXP 2 pedal. That'll give you the possibility to adjust the distortion to your needs fluently. Keep up the good work!

Your videos are awesome! I am heavily thinking about buying a used Pod Go and possibly switching for my analog pedals to using just it but i have my concerns. If I jailbreak my Pod Go, will it still be able to recieve the latest updates from Line 6?

Yes...so far...I've been using it for a while through several updates no problem...it's not really jailbreaking the POD Go as much as re-writing code for one preset...it doesn't do anything to the other presets

Helpful walk through - Thanks! One question: When you assign the Reverb mix / decay to EXP1, doesn't that just max it out after the first time you use it? (Without a way to back it off and get back to the volume pedal / EXP2) Seems like it would just hit 100% on the way to switching back and forth and effectively get stuck there?

You are correct. But there is a foot switch assigned to the Reverb. So you can turn off that Reverb in any state you want before hitting the Toe Switch to switch back to EXP2 for volume. So if you want to have the longer reverb setting on all the time to swell with the volume, you don't need to do anything. Having a longer reverb tail is what I would want to use the volume pedal for...but if you wanted to have it be the opposite, you could amp the reverb parameters opposite than what's in the video so that the toe down position. is the shorter tails of the reverb.
