[Podcast #16] How an Aussie Celebrates Christmas in Korea 

Always fun to hear about people Christmas traditions. Cinnamon roles sound delicious. Couldn’t tell you the last time I had one.

Your church sounds interesting lol. In the states we do something similar with the candles, but I can't remember if we sang silent night or something else. I am so excited to watch the Christmas service from my home. Usually here in Korea we go to some event with Christmas food. If we aren't under total lockdown we may be at our friend's house this year for a potluck~

We love to celebrate Christmas Day with family and loved ones. Lots of delicious foods and treats and laughs. Going to really miss that this year. It was our families turn to come to Australia, but now due to covid, they can’t. 😭. But that’s ok, we have close family friends to spend it with here on the Gold Coast thankfully 😀. It’s nice you spend so much time with friends over Christmas. We love ugly Xmas sweaters, we usually do Xmas pyjamas though as it’s too hot lol. 🌸🌴

We usually have a big family gathering where everyone brings food and we feast! As well as having a few too many drinks, because we're still Irish after all 😂

That’s so sweet that you do something with your co workers! I loveee Christmas carols too. Do you go to an international church in Korea or is it korean? Haha make the room really cold for ugly sweaters haha 😂
