I like to imagine that the way Jenna has decided to heal over her break is by training for that basketball game she never got to have. That she's been shooting hoops on the daily fulfilling her dreams.

We always say it, but Julien never ceases to impress me with his warmth and kindness. I know we only ever see a sliver of anyone's lives; but from what I see of Julien, he seems like a singularly lovely guy.

I’m so grateful for Julien continuing the channels and satisfying us while Jenna takes her well-deserved personal break (or more importantly, her long due self care). But I can’t help but worry that Julien might burn out next just like her and we won’t have them both in the end. Bringing so much content every week-EVERY DAY is no joke. I hope Julien remains to enjoy every stream, every podcast he does, for his sake rather than ours.

When he did the MeUndies transition I groaned “JULIEEEEEEEEN” since Jenna couldn’t be here to do it for us

Something to consider for Kermit’s IVDD diagnosis. I had the exact same situation with my chihuahua a few years ago. He was suddenly in a ton of pain (and is a huge baby about any level of pain) rushed him to the ER in the middle of night and had an X-ray the dr said looked consistent with IVDD. They gave him some pain meds and we let him rest and he was fine the next day. They told me if it was IVDD, we’d have to change his whole lifestyle and not let him jump on furniture etc anymore (which he loves to do). We took him to a neurologist a couple of days later and they did a MRI, which can see way more than the X-ray. They said people wouldn’t normally spend the money to bother double checking, but we have pet insurance that made it much more affordable and wanted to be sure. It turns out he did not have IVDD at all. It was just a random back tweak. We didn’t have to change a thing and 3 years later he is doing great.

Kermit’s disease is really problematic and severely painful. Rest does not cure it. Go to a different vet and get him treatment. Hyalutidin can help lubricate joints from inside which makes them work better and less painful.

My Doxie has ivdd and chiropractic care changed her life. She couldn’t walk at all and in 6 months she was back to her normals self. We take her in ever 3 months for maintenance.

As an Overnight ICU vet tech, I really kept saying “Pancreatitis!” while you searched your brain for the word. I’m so glad she’s okay ❤️

Can't wait for Bunny's week on the table. Also, you may be buying a new table soon.

When Kermit is off crate rest and the swelling has gone down, look into physical therapy for dogs. The only way to preserve his health and life in the longer term and to provide more pain relief is to rehabilitate and strengthen the muscles supporting his spine. Absolutely not moving for the rest of his life (just mentioning this in the weird off chance that this has been recommended to you), is going to result in increasing pain as the muscles surrounding the spine atrophy and more stress from gravity is placed on those vertebrae and discs. Being confined will produce depression. Inactivity will likely shorten his life. In any case I’m assuming a responsible vet already has physical therapy as part of his long-term care plan but just commenting this on the off chance that they aren’t aware of the option

Julien please don’t feel pressured to keep these going. U can take a break too, don’t stress

Pancreatitis is very common in small dogs, we see it very often. Diets too high in fat and feeding dogs people food can trigger it. My chihuahua has had IVDD to the point where she was almost partially paralyzed (toe dragging, stumbling) it took 3-4 months of crating her to heal her. From personal experience, those who have little dogs, keep them from jumping on and off furniture cause it can easily cause IVDD or even a ruptured disc.

The last time I took my little doggo to the vet she was put to forever sleep, so this storytime was just a little bit too close to home, I am soo soo glad that Peachy Queen is doing okay. I wish our pets would live forever ❤

I just wanted to say that Julien is one of the best men I know of. He inspires me to be a better man and inspires me to emulate so many of his positive qualities. He genuinely loves Jenna and the pups and the Dink fam. He was 100% chill with all of Jenna’s video stuff and he loved doing that with her. He constantly expresses how much he loves her through actions and words. Julien is keeping this train going without complaint and selflessly providing for everyone in his life, especially us viewers. Real man’s man right there, folks. Thanks for leading by example, Julien.

Like many others have been saying, IVDD is a very serious condition and rest is not a great long term option for Kermit’s well being. You need to take him to a specialty vet that has a neurology department for a second opinion. I know this because my dachshund has been going through the saga of IVDD for the last few years.

Ahhh! That's my tattoo, the purple and yellow moth (butterfly) with the diamond behind it! For those curious, it's by an artist up here in Seattle, named Dani out of Jackson Street Tattoo! She's an AMAZING artist- in fact, this is straight off her flash sheet. I thought it was the coolest thing I've ever seen. I have another piece by her and will continue getting more from her, her work is just always top notch, especially her line work and use of white.
