Podcast 7 (part 1) : my experience at the ERAS TOUR in Amsterdam ! 

We have had season tickets to Broadway Musicals in Houston for several years. My husband has often said that we should get tickets closer to the stage on the floor. We have discovered that we are very comfortable where we are on the 3rd row, close to center on the first balcony of a quite large theater. We both have small binoculars and enjoy seeing the entire stage and then looking at the performers and costumes up close with the binoculars. A few months ago, we say Tina, the Musical (about Tina Turner) There was a group of 3 women, probably in their 50's-60's, that dressed up in cute, sparkly tops and black skirts or leggings, with Tina wigs. They looked really cute and had a blast with everyone taking pictures of them. Also, a large number of younger people dressed in Beetlejuice type attire for Beetlejuice.

There is a reason why phones should be banned from concerts: Because the fans shouldn't be filming, they should enjoy the concert. Metal concerts generally are phone free...

Did you look at hotels in cities near Amsterdam? Utrecht is only 16 MINUTES by train to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena. Other option is Zaandam = 30 min by train. Or Breukelen (Brooklyn is named after this place), which has several hotels. 13 min to Amsterdam Bijlmer Arena. You can get much better deals in cities around Amsterdam like in Haarlem. (Namegiver for Harlem)

It 's so interesting to hear about this giant concert tour🤓 As a person who knows one TS song,i am always in shock there is a TS Universe out there.

And that's why I stopped going to concerts

The JCA is not 4 concerts but 4 playing soccer so that is why the sound and the ambiance was bad

I saw her 1989 tour with my daughter… and it was great but of course are seats where high, so I saw her on the screen!! Lol I’m glad you saw her and enjoy most of the experience! Stay well

Wow we had obstructed view seats in the US and now hearing how the floor seats were, I consider myself lucky. Plus we were able to walk around during the concert and see everything from different vantage points and then go sit in our seats when we felt like it. It was such a special night and a great experience for us. Did you trade friendship bracelets? What’s the verdict on the loop earplugs?

My first real concert was at the Hollywood Bowl to see the Beatles. I’ve been to hundreds of shows both big and small since then. To me your experience sounds like a nightmare. I must be really old.
