Sirs please make a podcast on how to handle an accident situation. Calling ambulance, calling police, lodging FIR, how to handle the crowd, prevent getting beaten up by the locals and such related activities. The highway signboards say in case of emergency contact through a telephone placed half km away etc etc. do these telephone work, is there somebody at the other end who will respond. These are not known to 99% of the road users as such. I think this will make a wonderful podcast. Thank you for your excellent work
CK sir told one the best thing I have heard so far... maturity is doing small things the right way.... Super ji super ji. love and respect for you guys...
Very matured discussion. Very true that the motorcyclists are at the receiving end and not the 4 wheelers. As a rider we should always keep in mind that we ride for thrills and happiness and not to fight on streets and roads. So avoid hooligans and preserve your balance of mind. And enjoy. Thx for such a nice discussion. It will go a long way in makings us further sensible and responsible riders.
Highlights of the podcast: Ayyoyo yellapa, personal choice, ride appropriately, group discipline, highway hypnosis, safety, loved the content as always CK and Boski. I can relate end to end with this experience on different groups and riders and also a responsible and sensible group and individual riding. haha La la land across the podcast was Epic! Vinashakari Vipareetha Buddhi harsh reality but very very true especially on the road, best to stay calm and composed to a large extent. Keeping family informed and consoled, most critical. Enjoyed this podcast throughout!
Thanks for yet another video sharing your invaluable wisdom and experience . Loved it and I am looking forward to following these best practices during my future rides !
I think that this was a brilliant dialogue between two mature and experienced riders, giving very sage advice, without sermonising. Everything that was discussed was relevant and helpful.
Lovely podcast… you guys have paid attention to almost every aspect of riding dynamics and riders…. Very useful.. thanks for sharing your riding experience 🙏
Good podcast !! Specially for middle age !! More over you speak on Anger Drive and lane discipline , etc , every area you have covered for this podcast was wonderful . Anger specially comes on acceleration and that’s a very good point to cover . Both of you baski & Ck surely a good pair and keep doing lot of podcasts and videos !! Love you both ❤️❤️🙏🙏👍👍👏👏🤝🤝
I was that raging persion when I started but after experience I am almost following what you have said in this video. Good one, sharing this to the group so that they can understand What I say to them.
ThankYou Bosky fo this talk. It immediately reminded me of the movie Rush. Dialogue from Movie Rush by Nikki Lauda - There's no need to drive fast, it just increases the percentage of risk. We're not in a hurry, I'm not being paid. Right now, with zero incentive or reward, why would I drive fast? Also another one before they go to a race in the rains. I believe as you said Nikki carried the anger on the track & later met with an accident in the same race. I accept every time I get in my car there is a 20% chance I could die, and I can live with it, but not 1% more.
This riding temperament reminds me a lot of our group. Since its a mix of fast and slow bikes but one i find amiss in most groups is severe lack of comms and intercom when riding. It has completely changed our riding dynamics and has reduced risk in twisties significantly and also much easier to not zone out and get warnings. seen too many groups with fancy sena's but no one on intercom or mesh because of mix of high end and low end models and feels like one of the biggest missises of group riding.
Well articulated on the importance of being calm and cool before starting the ride and to take break if you encounter a close call. End of the day, its important to ensure safety and joyful ride as the purpose is not to race 28:02
Sirs, a Lot of common sense of riding has been discussed here. Excellent podcast. Please do such podcasts often.
Good to know it’s interesting ,actually I ride alone coz I believe experiencing and learning new people ,place ,stories n history is the true essence of riding n travelling. While riding ..I think only present … it’s beauty ….😅 it’s just my prospective
I watched a video by pradeep (on wheels) discussing rules (or breaking it) and complications arising out of the irresponsible behaviour of our fellow Indians. Nice to see these things discussed as the Indian roads are shared by trucks, busses, cars, two wheelers, autos, bullock carts, cows, camels, camel carys...... RIDING IN INDIA IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT EXPERIENCE. POPULATION EXPLOSION, MASS MIGRATION TO CITIES, BREAKING RULES. ... GREAT TO SEE THESE ARE DISCUSSED. VERY VERY VERY EDUCATIONAL AND THOUGHT PROVOKING. THANKU A TON.
All these years the motovlogs have been dominated by teens or people of my age. It is such a delight to watch you both. We might disagree on things but the maturity of the content is what I respect. Don't mean to offend you saying you are seniors 😉 You guys remind me of one of my uncles in Bengaluru. Very intelligent and mature. We agree to disagree on many things but in the end get along together like no one else. This conversation reminded me of my first ride with Ducati in Bologna as well. I was the slowest. Those guys were pulling their hairs out as to why I was riding a Multistrada that slow on a group ride. It's only when their team visited India did they get the answer.
Riding/ driving pattern and ethic pretty much boils down to how scientific your basics are when u were taught driving. There will always be a stark difference between a person who has got their license overseas after all due diligence, A person in India 🇮🇳 who was taught at home and gave the test without Bribes & lastly a person who has paid bribe and got license without basics . ( truck driver’s language- Steering control, understanding).
Hello Sir, could you please do a video on adjusting clutch lever freeplay on bikes with adjustable levers - Interceptor/ SG/ SM 650s would help. Request you to also include details of how to use an adjustable lever while maintaining freeplay if one changes with adjusting another. Thanks!
Common sense is not so common- one of my seniors used to say this. This podcast is all about common sense riding. What is so endearing is that no part of this appears as “giving gyan” (pontificating) but rather as two experienced riders engaging in a passionate conversation about safe and common sense riding.
I was riding solo on NH44 in Haryana for the first time in life. I realised that on a highway cars drive zig-zag like two-wheelers in cities. And the left side gap of a truck where a car can pass from is the most dangerous spot. Moreover I was forced to look in the side mirror way too much. It was taxing.
plz make a video on how to maintain our bikes It is a constant urge of mine to change parts of my bike for some practical reason that I justify for my own satisfaction
Hi, I have a liking toward the Bajaj Dominor and have not heard it being compared or talked about. Can you please tell me if it worth against the Himalayan 450
I don't want to generalize but I will, everytime I have encountered groups of two or more bikers on large CC imported bikes on the Hosur Krishnagiri highway, they "filter" thru traffic ...this always annoys me on some level...passing between 2 cars or trucks traveling at 90+ kmph is putting everyone in danger....
When I was riding back from Tumkur [to Bangalore], at about 90-100ish on my scrambler, a middle aged gentleman zoomed ahead on a white x pulse with grace and finesse.. didn't know that x pulse was capable of all that.. or probably, it was the person on the motorcycle.. 😄
can you make a video on bike tank vaporisation?? I am new to bike riding also in my bike fuel gets accumulated inside of tank and edges of tanks ,What should I do??
This is something like those you tube videos , 10 life lessons from a 80 year old man. 😅 Riding lesson from middle aged men 😅 Nice interesting discussion. 😊
Sir, I own a hunter 350 and have ridden it about 22000 KM in the last 10 months....I want to change it because of its very siff suspension as I ride mostly in highways to my office.....my daily ride is about 85 KM in the highway to my office.....my height is 5ft and 6 inches....I am confused between the New Himalayan 452, the Triumph Street 400 and the Triumph Scrambler 400x....I want to choose a bike with decent power and good suspension to ride in the highway.... please suggest one among them
@@bigbearbangalore Thank you Sir...I have ridden the New Himalayan a few days ago and liked it's suspension and how punchy the engine is....my only concern is the tubed tyres on it.... Should I wait for upcoming bikes from Royal Enfield with the same engine and with tubeless tyres ?
