To be fair, even the tutorial video is late. The product manual (the usual confusing diagrams with zero text clarifying anything) has a QR code and URL that should have gone to this video but went to a blank page or error (depending on browser). It's been on sale for weeks now but they only just published the video. Checking now, the URL *still* does not work even thought the video has finally been published. Fanatec make some decent hardware but seem to be completely over their heads in every other department, and showing zero signs of fixing anything.
Great but when are you going to answer Customer Support emails? You’ve taken my money and apparently shipped my £700 order nearly 4 weeks ago but I am yet to receive the products or even a tracking number ffs!😡😡😡

The Sparco R383 wheel rim included in the Monte Carlo bundle does not include the 6 M5 screws to mount the rim and the adapter ring to the podium hub. After numerous delays and about 2 months, how was this overlooked?
@@mattikoch3215 M5-0.8x20mm, specifically for the Sparco R383 wheel rim, since it's about 5mm thick. Basically 16mm + the thickness of the rim. You could go slightly longer than 20mm, like 21-22, but I couldn't find anything longer without going to 25mm, which is probably too long to avoid bottoming out in the hub. I also added some blue loctite.

Edit: dd+ dec 19 that’s tomorrow let’s see what the next email says 😂 Second edit: got the email about DD+ they won’t make the promised time but they are going to do free air shipping. So I’m thinking very early Jan delivery. This edit: still nothing. At the moment fanatec owes me 2k+ worth of gear both long over shot their estimated dates by 7+ weeks.

Why would a steering wheel like Fanatec not send you the steering wheel base or cancel your order anyway? I have not yet received my first order from this company, which was postponed by a few months, and I am already approaching this company with considerable distance. Contact, organization, shipping - everything in this company is poor...
@opticalslay3r783 It was only when I bought from Fanatec's offer on Black Friday and there was no information from Fanatec about what was happening with the order that I started to look into it and noticed a lot of information long before Black Friday about Fanatec's problems with shipping orders, etc. etc. From my perspective, after the company's shares dropped (probably due to problems), it looks as if after BF they made money (freezing orders with goods they don't have) for the next months, and an ordinary customer waits for months for an order. The company (which I thought was serious), which organizes and sponsors events and is well-known in the racing world, turned out to be an amateur company with a non-serious approach to business. German solidity? This word is an old and outdated slogan, and selling goods that you don't have and lack of contact with the customer are just the tip of the iceberg of mistakes made by fanatec.
@@rickflare6893 It's very strange. It looks as if they had this product, but they got lost organizationally in BF and now they are trying to sort out the documents and orders, while processing current orders in normal times. If it turns out to be true, it will be the customer's total ignorance.

Chargeback process initiated, after 47 days, not a word, and no way to cancel/refund. The value of expensive equipment depends on the support and maintenance you can get. If you don't trust the company, that value is greatly diminished. I don't trust a company who thinks it's okay to disrespect its customers this way.
Fortunately, I have had two CSL Elites(recently went to PS4/5 because of the death of Forza), with flawless operation. Unfortunately, I own the Clubsport shifter, Clubsport Handbrake and CSL Elite Pedals, all with issues. The shifter has to be disassembled frequently to rectify misshifts. The Handbrake failed due to a bolt within shearing, rendering it useless(fixed using random at home hardware). The CSL Elite Pedals are great except for a crack that developed near the throttle pedal which allows the pedal to articulate up that much higher, making Heal Toe difficult. I do use my gear often, but never do I beat on it. The wheel base is the only thing I've purchased used. Everything else has been purchased new, deemed defective, and reported within months. To which Fanatec gave run arounds for resolution before opting to send it in and have it repaired. Unfortunate when the shipping / wait time is measured in eons. Fanatec will not be who I upgrade with in the future.
unbelievable they acknowledge they have major shipping issues due to new warehousing which is causing carnage for customers, yet in the middle of the carnage of their own making they launch a black Friday event lasting a whole week compounding their logistics issues and launch a new flagship product at the same time, which they can't even get out the door. The silence from fanatec is deafening!

I see you guys are still sponsoring EA WRC. Do you realise how broken the game is? I won't be buying any of your products until you have at least a modicum of a spine and withdraw support for unfinished products. It really reflects badly on your brand when your logo is all over a very poorly performing game.
Should the game be better? Yes. But it really isn't THAT bad. Locked the frame rate, put on DLSS Quality mode, and the game runs smooth and looks better too.
Maybe on PC, but for console gamers those things are not an option. The game is low detail and blurry, yet still has screen tearing. Plus, the career mode is broken.@@CasuallyCareening
@@CIA-m1v Issues like that are a big reason why I quit consoles 10+ years ago. Sad to hear that’s still a thing. Yeah the cost of a PC sucks in comparison, but you can get games way cheaper on average, especially if you’re patient, and just do more with the system overall. And then you can upgrade individual components along the way instead of a whole new console, controllers, games, etc for every new generation. Anyway hope they fix the game for y’all.

Would love to utilize one of the video guides but you need to ship all of us our equipment we ordered months ago first SMH. If you are reading this DO NOT ORDER FROM FANATEC. You are literally better off engineering your own sim gear from scratch. They will not respond, or acknowledge your existence. But hey they will happily accept your money...10/10 DO NOT RECONMEND.
Does anyone know why the ENG button doesn't work like a normal button? Instead, what it does is change the function of the right crosshair so that it works like the left mouse button or it doesn't work. It doesn't make any sense to me.
@@momorious I just found out what it was. I had activated the mouse emulator mode in the enfurance module of my Porsche steering wheel, when I deactivate the option again with the Porsche steering wheel connected, everything works fine. Something strange that the configuration of the endurance module affects the rally module but 🤷
You cannot connect shifters directly to this module. The shifters are attached to the Hubs (shown in the video at 1:06). The Podium Hub supports both the ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module and Podium Advanced Paddle Module. The ClubSport Universal Hub V2 / V2 for Xbox has the ClubSport Magnetic Paddle Module preinstalled and can be upgraded to the Podium Advanced Paddle Module.

@@dennisscs2 Yeah, I wrote them to cancel my order. Fortunately we still have certain laws in effect in Germany to help the customer in such situations, but I already wrote them that I will hand over the case to my lawyer in case they slack.
