That timeout for the doctor was rubbish, all for a trickle of blood from his ear. That combined with spitting the mouth piece and end of round all together as one big break bought him time to recover. It would of went the other way if it wasn't for that poor decision.
@@Haywoodjablomie100 dude do u work as a doctor many ears damage maybe go deep to cause some serious injury Watch the fight again the doctor was cleaning the bleeding to see how much deep it is
@@Wael911iii It was bleeding for a while and they waited until he was rocked and they stopped the fight with only 5 seconds until the bell. Why not simply wait 5 seconds and check his ear instead of a stoppage that effected the outcome of the fight. All due to a bit of scar tissue from cauliflower ears. So i'll say it again, shit decision.
Great fight but I can't wait until this sport gets ironed out with more serious athletes and techniques for preservation. IMO it'd be better if they could use elbows to save their hands - can't believe the headshots these guys guys throw with what have to be broken hands. Reminds me of the old Bas Rutten fights where he'd palm strike mofo's
From a fight against burns that he was expected to lose to a two weight champion he is a sloppy fighter but just keeps on front foot tough as nails fairplay good fight
